This is not the place for special secret knowledge.
The US was one country the whole time. Please see Texas v White.
Yes, NATO took up the Balkan conflict outside their treaty obligations. So what?

That is a matter of perspective. To the Union we were one nation and to the confederacy we were two.

Fools calling others Fools is foolish. Since when do the Pentagon or CIA pundits have political integrity ? especially when conflicted ?? when we can expect a double dumb doo doo.

    Lol.

    Right right.

Anything positive can be explained, but it isn't true. Anything negative is automatically factual about Trump.

Fact us, NATO countries are taking advantage of the US, and have for a very long time.

But facts are less important than. Orange Man Bad.

NATO members agreed to increase their defense spending -- and began doing so -- in 2014, two years before Trump became President. He started his term on third base and claimed he hit a triple.

The expect us to go to nuclear WW3 for them. The least they can do is upgrade their military and pay their dues.
So typical of socialism leaving them standing naked in front of armed aggression.
Trump finally slapped some sense in them.

Rather than posting the facts that proves the poster wrong, you avoid it to tell the opposing view they are stupid.

You do realize this tactic just makes it look like you surrender to the information they posted, right?

They were NOT increasing spending in the manner required to hit the goal established by 2024.

In fact, many of them had only promised, but hadn't taken any actual action to meet the agreed upon obligations.

Yeah, lefties get so spun up when Trump does a little tough talk. He sends NATO to bed without their support and Looney Leftdom goes Nuclear.

And the SecGen of NATO praised him for his triple-twisting, double spin in the pike position jump.

And the tactic they chose instead was to make the investments to upgrade their military. You know - the ones REQUIRED by NATO charter.

Sure. Finland ordered 60 F35s from the US, and now they spend over 2.5%. Is that a bad thing?

Um....no, Biden was in the WH when Finland joined last year, but heck feel free to praise your political leader about it. I don't get the infatuation with political leaders.

Finland joined because the Ukraine situation, not because some political hack was in the WH

Finland is a non sequitur in this issue. We're talking about when Trump as President dressed down then current NATO members for not spending on defense in accordance with NATO charter.

Feel free to praise and credit your political leader. The member nations had already agreed to to the spending guidelines before Trump threatened to betray them. We have been through this, and the spending did in fact start after the 2014 meeting.

. Again, for possible comprehension - promising to pay and actually paying are to different things. Truep got them to actually do the spending - With an all due respect I'm going with he NATO SecGen's view of the issue rather than yours.

They were actually paying, as anyone can from the facts and figures, except those who refuse to see.

The SecGen patted the Toddler-in-Chief on the head and put him down for a nap.

I worked closely with General Hayden and I know several people who attended that and other NATO gatherings.

Actually I agree he was right that all members should meet their commitments. But Obama got them to commit to that.

His comments on leaving them on their own, or even worse, encouraging Russia to attack them, if they didn’t meet their funding commitments were atrocious. Anti-American. He is the farthest thing possible from an American patriot. He is truly an asset to Russia.
