I started a thread about forming my own church and branch of Christianity in the political section. I am forming this thread as a continuation of that one. I am starting a new thread in the religious section because I want to discuss some of the theological beliefs that my church will hold, which is not appropriate for the political section. Before I get started, are there any questions that anyone has about my church? I will answer them to the best of my ability.
I could be wrong, but it appears to me you somehow believe this is novel. It has been done already time and time again since the reformation, Protestants have created about 36,000 Christian denominations now. Why do you think your church will be any better than any of those others?.
I'm not saying that mine is better. I just do not feel that any of the other versions are what I feel Christianity should be. So I want to form my own.
Not at first, but eventually, once a get my church started, I want to start recording my sermons and placing them on Youtube.
If you, yourself is not claiming yours is any better than nay of the others why would people want to join yours, when you make such a claim. So it's about how you FEEL Christianity should be? So you are starting a church based on your own personal theology, and how you think it should be?. Go right ahead thats what many before you have done it will only be another one to add to a long list. It would onLY add to further schism.

I do not understand, if you believe your church is more right then go ahead establish your church. However you, yourself said that you are not claiming your church is better. Then why establish a church that you are saying is no better. There must be some things you believe other churches are doing wrong for you to establish your own. And if you beleive you are going to be rectifying these wrongs within your church then you are more or less claiming your church will be better. If you believe other churches are not in some way wrong then there is no need to establish your church.
