Neither of you are going to get a coherent answer and that's because on the Left it is an article of faith that Fox News is always filled with lies and distortions. Hell I thought so myself back when I bounced between NBC and MSNBC during the G.W. Bush years, not really cognizant of the fact that the supposedly politically neutral NBC was co owner with hard core leftist Bill Gates of hard left MSNBC. Anyway I KNEW that Fox News routinely just made feces up and that they were nothing more than a bunch of insane howlers and radical rightwingers, neck deep in hatred and bigotry and racism . . . until one day I got curious and actually tuned into the channel and looked and listened and . . . learned. Holy crap! Everything that I knew about Fox News as a nominal supporter of tje nominal and automatic leftwing criticisms of all things G.W. Bush in nature was freaking w-r-o-n-g!

So to say the least, the experience opened my eyes; and then radical leftwingers and low-information Dem Party voters and leftwing racists tossed aside Hillary Clinton in favor of a first term U.S. senator with zero meaningful national level experience in times of multiple and major national and foreign problems simply because he possessed a popular skin tone and had a deeply melodious speaking voice and then I knew that the old Dem Party was dead.

 

I remember one in particular. 2000 election, Pat Buchanan was running. CNN did a full episode of before and during a speech he was giving. Lead up to the speech he was shown to be suffering from a cold. During the speech he had some trouble with the cold. After the speech on the nightly news, I forget which station in particular but one of the three, the statement was made that Buchanan choked up during a question hinting that he had trouble answering it when he actually had trouble with his cold. I saw both. It was pure propaganda by a network. They can and do spin the news.

 

The Left always says Fox lies constantly, but they often have a hard time proving it. It's from hate they say it. They can't stand Fox saying anything bad about Obama or his policies, so they just dump on Fox. Funny we have all kind of lies coming out on MSNBC and they never say anything bad about them. So anything they say about Fox, you have to take it with a grain of salt.

 

Funny how all you hear from Fox News is complaints about the "lamestream" media and so forth. Yet, when Fox is criticized, it is the left that is afraid of competition. So, then Fox must be terrified of competition, because they spend a large amount of time complaining out other news organizations.

The reality is though, that Fox news is very polarizing, and the main reason is that their commentary is not based upon facts and is often outright contradictory to facts. But the station has an agenda where facts don't matter. And that is why Fox News viewers have been shown to be the least informed.

So you try hard to avoid being exposed to Fox lies, huh. Because there is lots and lots of evidence proving their lies. Heck, there is an organization, Media Matters, that spends lots of time revealing their lies.

LISTEN. This is not about mocking Fox News for any political agenda. This is about the fact that the network clearly has a tendency for major onscreen gaffes, which may or may not undermine those political agendas. It's also about alliterations. "Major MSNBC Mishaps" just sounds awkward. « less

The other is about Fox mistakes.

My complaints about MSNBC isn't about being a mouth piece for Obama, making mistakes or gaffs. It's outright lies. It's splicing tapes to make things look different than it really is. It's their nastiness. They are proven liars and they have a reputation of splicing video tapes. So until the Left can admit how dishonest MSNBC is, it's not going away.

Fox News apologized on Tuesday for a seriously misleading Obamacare graphic, saying it had made a "mistake."

Seemingly the entire Internet rapped the network over the knuckles when it aired this chart about Obamacare enrollment levels:

Fox News anchor apologizes for Obama gaffe

A Fox News Channel anchor apologized for falsely saying that President Barack Obama had offered to pay for the operation of a museum of Muslim culture &#8220;out of his own pocket&#8221; during the government shutdown.

Anchor Anna Kooiman made the remark Saturday on Fox & Friends during a discussion about closed facilities. She didn&#8217;t cite a source, but a satirical news site called &#8220;National Report&#8221; had posted a story headlined: &#8220;Obama Uses Own Money to Open Muslim Museum Amid Government Shutdown.&#8221;

The fake story said that Obama had &#8220;held a press conference&#8221; to announce he would use his own money to reopen the International Museum of Muslim Cultures in Jackson, Miss.

 

I've never thought that Bill Maher was a thinking individual. He's a lap dog
