    People claim the father did what most father's would have done to get their son home, and if that means converting to Islam and learning the language so be it. But everyone forgets the conversation the father and son had before Bergdahl left the compound and started his walk-about around Afghanistan. His own father encouraged his son to follow his conscience which the son did.

    we will see if these six men reported this back then or if they are now politically motivated to say these things, we just have to wait for the system to investigate what really happened, if this POW was really a traitor, deserter or whatever, then they will deal with it at that time

    I am waiting till he is reunited with his son, I would expect to see a public apply from the father for his comments at that time, unless of course he has really become sympathetic to those that kidnapped his son, which to me would be crazy...

    I also had problems with blowing up girls schools, going on a school bus and shooting a little girl in the head or throwing acid on them walking to school. I also have a problem with people who treat women worse than they treat their animals. If he left to join people like that, he is going from a flame to a blaze.Maybe the father should see the difference too.

    I would really like to hear from the father why he would tell his son to follow his conscience while he was contemplating leaving the unit and striking out on his own? Most father's would have calmed their son's down and suggest he talk to someone in his chain of command regarding his obvious feelings of distraught of feeling ostracized from his unit. Instead he supports his son to go on a suicide mission.

    They may have been blamed for Palin but i think mccain would have gotten fewer votes without Palin than with her.
