My thoughts is they oppose seditious threats to the country that want to undermine the people.

Progressive Democrats do not advocate for the self defense rights of law abiding citizens. That’s absolutely true.

And that have got zero to do with the NRA being a lobbyist spending billions bribing the republicans with money in their campaign coffers. Are these republicans incapable of defending the 2A without the NRA money? That's funny.

No we just like to make difficult for people who wish to infringe on our rights.

Yeah I buy it and simply don't register it. The government still has no idea it even exists.

Criminals would just not obey the law. That's why making laws to control their behavior is idiotic.

No I think Republicans tend to be more supportive of the Constitution so because of that citizen's organizations support their campaign.

Fines, civil and or criminal penalties if the seller does not have proper records and at weapon is used in the commission of a crime

    ...

    Nope

Im not direct quoting your fear mongering, insults and denials, it would not punish law abiding citizens in the slightest, it would only impact people that refuse to follow the law.

Registration will discourage exactly zero people that want a weapon for legal reasons.

Registration does not infringe on anyone’s rights.

Where will criminals buy guns from if they can no longer buy them through straw purchases?
It leaves theft (which would be reported) or illegal importing.

    From who?
Do you think this would change if the person making the straw purchase would be held personally responsible once the criminal commits a crime?

so make laws to punish the f*** out of people who otherwise wouldn't be criminals if that weren't stupid enough it has no effect whatsoever on violent crime at all.

I would say use common sense but I don't think you possess any.

yes you can lie to yourself all day long but making up new laws to punish people who otherwise aren't criminal it's all about punishing people who otherwise wouldn't be criminal this is why people opposed this with so much fervor.

the creation of the wall is to make criminals out of people who aren't criminals currently. Gun owners.

But doesn't have anything to do with violence.

and it would discourage 0 people who want one for illegal reasons.

    So it's useless.

And where do the other criminals get them from?
Theft, straw purchases, or illegal importation.

A registry would eliminate the second one

Since all you have is personal attacks because someone doesn’t agree with you I have no desire to continue this or any other conversation with you. It seems to be your debate strategy. Insults and repeating rhetoric without even addressing the points.

    Cheers

the only two purposes for a registration is for later confiscation, and to arrest people for not opening the registration.

It serves no valid use. Criminals will obtain unregistered firearms.

simple straw purchaser buys guns reports them stolen.

Boy that was easy law to defeat I'm not even a criminal and I figured it out.

I stated very sound arguments against everything you stated but go ahead and touch your little tail between your legs and scamper off I'll deliver these same arguments to you the next time.

And you'll probably boohoo about being personally insulted.

It's how you avoid addressing arguments that render your position illogical.

    It's the leftist mating call.

Wake up. There are 300,000,000 guns in the US today. Criminals don’t need straw purchasers or imports.

Your points will make no difference in firearm crime but will only succeed in making it more difficult for law abiding citizens to defend themselves.

All you need is a criminal without a record they just buy them and report them stolen.
That was extremely easy for me to figure out it took me all the 15 seconds to come up with that.

This would actually make it easier to do that.

Are you thinking what would happen if people would purchase them and then report them stolen.

    Then sell them to criminals.

I'm not a criminal and it took me 15 seconds to figure that one out.
