Clearly this is not a typical situation - this is not a vaccine for the measles. Desperate times and all that.

that's great and feel free to do that on your own; do not support a govt that imposes it upon everyone

No, that's wrong. France, the UK and Italy all have lower death rates than the US. Spain has a higher. When I looked before it was just Belgium and Spain from Europe who had higher death rates than the US, You have one of the highest in the world.

No, they have lower mortality rates. Not lower death rates.

Ok, what do you see as the difference between mortality rates for Covid 19 and death rates for Covid 19?

Mortality rate is deaths per capita. Death rate is deaths per people with Covid. Death rate is a good judge of how good a country is at taking care of people with Covid. Mortality rate doesn't really care how many people get sick, just how many die. The US has a better death rate (we don't let people die). Other countries are better at not getting sick to begin with but you have a bigger chance of becoming dead if you do get sick.

Nonesense you claimed they had lower mortality rates not lower death rates. They are the same thing. Don't dig deeper.
