In case you forgot, the SCOTUS CORRECTLY ruled public school must allow student led prayer and worship.
students can pray on their own, the teaches can not ask them to nor force them to pray, no one ever said they could not
Story after story and action being taken by the American Center for Law and Justice say otherwise (www.aclj.org)
we have teacher burning crosses into students arms and telling them they will go to hell if they do not believe... but that doesn't mean it's allowed - it means the teachers should be fired when caught, when people need justice they go to the courts, if a teacher tries to stop a child from a non-disruptive prayer before a test, the child can complain, be they Muslim, Christian or Pastafarian .... whatever
See, the problem here is you people think that we need to be ashamed of our faith, to keep it hidden. But that is not what we are commanded to do.
the problem here is some people must think their religion sucks so bad they need to force it on other people and their children I have said many times, if you want to put a cross in your front yard with Jesus nailed to it, have at it... your property, your choice - you want to pray in public, have at it, just do not expect the government to mandate all children pray, don't have the government tell children they will go to hell if they do not believe Matthew 6 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+6:5-8&version=KJV before you pray... ask yourself, what are you praying for exactly, for others to see you pray or for God to hear you?
No. You don't need to be ashamed or keep it hidden. But you are not commanded to do anything. If you do, expect push back.
An illogical conclusion. Before the big bang was some other form of energy. Else, no big bang. So something outside the universe. Or the universe in a never ceasing expansion and contraction.
If you limit yourself to god being specific without any evidence and think the bible has some merit. You are not a theist, you are a christian. You've boxed god into something you can only believe and limit the possibilities. Limiting the possibilities is leaning to a religion, christianity in your case, and not a theist, with possibilities still on the table.
Then as another poster who claims that history is from the bible and so is science, the earth is flat. Why do you believe that or not? According to JRR77 who is a bible thumper, the earth is flat. Do you read the scripture the same?
Take away pain, sickness, affliction, etc? God created them, inflicts them. Read the bible for evidence.
If you've never read the bible, why you here trying to talk about things in the bible? Ever read the passage, I god create all things, good and evil. Do you know what 'ALL' means? Lying for god is not a good thing. According to christian religions.
Didn't God impregnate Mary with Jesus to die for sinful man? That is the basis of the NT bible stories. Have you ever read the bible? Do you understand what is written in it, if you have?
Wait. Is god ominscient? Before he created adam and eve, he knew they would eat and disobey. Some choice, hey?
You mean, don't kill life of all things on earth, but ark things? Leave 1 sinful family behind on earth, to repopulate, with the same sinful ways? Pretty silly for an omniscient being. Knowing full well what was going to happen yet again.
Not only did he NOT create it. And it's NOT part of his plan. But this OMNISCIENT being, did not know all this was going to happen. Supposedly according to the stories we keep getting told by the believers.
