    I like watching the democrats whine when the republicans refuse to do the democrats work for them. I like watching Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff fail so consistently.

    Since the Ukraine quid pro quo issue, Trump has reduced the people who can oversee his phone calls. I guess that is more draining the swamp :)

    And again it is not as if there is only one or two lies or that they are difficult to fact check By ANYONE over the age of about 10.

    But if you would rather believe one person with a known history of telling falsehoods over hundreds of other people then there is nothing I can do to help

    It's not trolling if it's true. The democrats didn't call witnesses and withdrew subpoenas and claimed there wasn't time and then demanded the GOP bring in the witnesses. The tried they failed and you ladies cried.

    Unfortunately, trump supporters - most of whom consider themselves conservatives - have abandoned all principles and values in exchange for supporting their leader. It’s depressingly sad.

    What this tells us is what we already know but let's confirm anyway; that Trump is an illiterate buffoon, ignorant in the ways of life and politics.
    As Trump is as clueless as a newborn baby he is obviously lost in the world of adult (telephone)conversations that concern the fate of he world.

    Trump's home-work assignment for today; write, in your own words, something nice about the human race. (For example, they are warm, nice people with big hearts.)
    You are allowed to use a Thesaurus if you can't find the words...

    His 'fake news' is one of the many thought-terminating cliche implants Trump has installed into the brains of his base, designed to kill conversations and keep his base ignorant.. Congrats for being a Trump stooge, and not being able to think for yourself. See, Trump doesn't want people who think for themselves, he only wants compliant suckers to remain ignorant, for that is in Trump's interest, noting that when he talks, he only talks to his base, no one else. And, if they thought for themselves,they would come to the inescapable conclusion they have been conned.

    I needed to find a thread to post this tiny story and this is it, since it dealt with Trump's phone calls..

    This is hilarious and a perfect example that a lawyer who has Trump as a client needs a muzzle for his client...

    Writer E Jean Carroll is suing Mr Trump for defamation after he denied her allegations that he raped her in a New York department store in the mid-1990s and called her a liar.

    The president’s lawyers claimed that the case could not be pursued in Manhattan Supreme Court as he does not live there, having been resident in Washington, DC, since January 2017, and having legally changed his residency to Florida in 2019.

    However, on his recent call with state governors in which he urged them to “dominate” protesters in the streets of cities as unrest grew following the death of George Floyd, he said that he was particularly appalled at what he had seen taking pace in his hometown of New York.

    “I live in Manhattan,” he said.

    On 15 June, Ms Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, argued in a letter to the court that Mr Trump’s statement invalidated his lawyer’s claims.

    The motion put forward by Mr Trump’s lawyer, Patrick McPartland, has now been withdrawn.
