I'm going to open a business and refuse to serve liberals. And I'll save you all the trouble of name calling, yes, I do not like you. I wouldn't want you anywhere in or near my business.
most likely it was likely it was a dozen or less minimum wage monkeys or interns sitting in cubical at a lobbying or activist firm that wrote 80% of the hate emails this place recieved. I did a study once and found out that of of over 200 bad reviews 97% were written by 3 people. That is why you can't trust online reviews or message boards, shilling is big business these days. Ever notice how many of the posters styles resemble each other here? I would wager that all of the people on my ignore list are the same person back to the pizza place, if I were running a small business I would not give a damn whose money I took as long as it was earned legally, on the same hand if I were gay I think I would find a gay or gay friendly baker for my wedding cake. The guy that was forced by the government might forget to was his hands before leaving the bathroom. This is all just a "look it that squirrel story" anyway to divert attention from the dismal shape of the mideast and domestic situations. Just typical Democratic "we hate the USA" so lets divide the country so the low info types will vote for us and we can continue picking their pockets
This is a sensible and reasoned reaction. I am glad to see there is some common ground in which people can move forward on. This type of thinking will do more towards normalizing relationships between the LGBT community and the old school than the adversarial shaming that we are currently engaging in. Thanks for your post.
OMG sir I would like to shake your hand and talk about this over a nice cold one. Yes, build bridges, purposeful conversation and gaining an understanding for each other. Bravo sir!
kind of reminds me of the Chick Fil A Thing http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS...ting-sales-appreciation-day/story?id=16912978
"Protected class". You already lost the argument. What is that designation, other than a direct affront to Equal Protection? Would you say that the bartender was discriminating to determine such a thing? I do agree that among the dumbest things I've ever heard are things which liberals believe. And I notice that you are vehemently elucidating exactly what the clarifications of those beliefs are. Or not.
What, exactly, would you hope to prove? The young lady already said gay people were welcome in her store. She specifically said they would not deny service to gays. It was only catering a gay wedding she would not do. Going and buying tons of pizza from them doesn't address the issue, what she said, or what happened. She clearly said she would welcome your business. Oh, and to add, she didn't jump on a soapbox to make her proclamation. She was specifically asked by a dingbat reporter who drove miles to a small town to find a business to ask equally dingbat questions of. This was started by an inept and clueless media. God Bless 'Em! lol.
Yep, donations are now closed. I wish they had left it open through tomorrow to see if it topped $1,000,000. The donations average $28.89 each. That's about the cost of a nice pizza and drinks for a couple. Nice job! Edit to add link: http://www.gofundme.com/MemoriesPizza
Is someone refusing service to you for being Christian? Because that would be illegal. Just like it's illegal for a christian to refuse to serve someone for not practicing christian values.
If you're a licensed business that sells pizza to the public, that's what you. It's no use getting prissy about the venue for the pizza. It's just a pizza, not an endorsement of anything. The American people (the vast majority Christian), the corporate kingpins - mostly Republicans one might safely assume - and Republican politicians have decreed that radical legislation that accommodates discrimination be defeated or corrected. Only the sniveling remains. What pervert ordered the double anchovy!?!
