No one on the far right is going to give a damn about this unless it's a female relative of theirs just like the far left didn't care when it was Uncle Bill doing the raping and harassing.

 

He has not made a full confession. In fact, he may not be guilty of all the complaints against him. But his confession, probably compelled by the NYPD tape, has left him vulnerable to any charge. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is a rarity.
It may be an impossible ideal - there seems to always be more truth to uncover.

 

Absent proof why should anyone believe evidence from strangers collected in the course of a partisan witch hunt?
People, left or right, will grant more credibility to relatives and others they know to be truthful. OTOH, most of us probably have relatives we would never believe without iron clad proof.

 

The point being partisans are declaring absolute guilt or absolute innocence before all the facts are in.

 

Exactly right. IMO, Franken should never have been elected to the Senate, but he was. The calls for his expulsion from the Senate are disturbing. Elections still matter.
