    So much for mr biology expert. ...many plants count on birds to eat their fruit and crap them out elsewhere along with handy deposit of bird fertilizer to kickstart germination...

    New world monkeys....the congo river is known to produce large rafts of vegetation resulting from flooding , 26 million years ago one such raft would've brought the first monkeys to the America's...

    Once I had an idea, not a theory, while thinking about ID and chances for winning the lottery. What if the Big Bang happened a trillion, trillion times, expansion and collapse, before it got things "just right"? And dark energy was like diffusion of past Bangs were catching up with previous ones?

    There is also a universe from nothing involving virtual particles:
    Virtual particles are often popularly described as coming in pairs, a particle and antiparticle which can be of any kind. These pairs exist for an extremely short time, and then mutually annihilate. In some cases, it however is possible to boost the pair apart using external energy so that they avoid annihilation and become actual particles, as described below.
