Yes, the Rove meltdown was a piece of political history. You can never understimate the shamelessness of these people. They kept Turdblossum on the payroll, even after he was exposed for scamming his own clients at Crossroads GPS.
Sooner or later, even morons will pull their heads from the sand and actually see the light of day.....
I suspect you can't tell me what VRF means. Just as I am absolutely certain that not one of these convictions involves anything other than individuals submitting a false name on a voter registration form in order to get paid. I am equally certain, that not one single vote was ever cast because of these registrations. I actually know how voter registration law works. This entire meme rests on the (largely correct) assumption that the target audience doesn't. - - - Updated - - - http://www.factcheck.org/2008/10/acorn-accusations/ Read it and learn something.
Poor Dick Morris was the scapegoat. But Hannity, O'Reilly, Stuart Varney, etc. were in there nodding in agreement as Toe-Sucker was predicting a "Romney Landslide" and they didn't let them go.
These are convictions of individual employees of that organization. Dispite eight years of shouting "voter fraud", the right wing noise machine cannot produce a single piece of evidence that any false ballot was cast as a result of the behavior of any individual. Falsified voter registrations are usually caught, and ususally easily caught. In the case of ACORN in Nevada and Missouri, ACORN officials pre screened applications and alerted election officials of the ones they thought might be questionable. ACORN was under no legal obligation to do that, In fact, they were under legal obligation to turn in ALL registration forms, no matter how suspect for verification by election officials. This fact is what the ACORN meme rest on. Most people don't know that if you go out and try and register Mickey Mouse to vote, you are required by Federal law to turn that registration in. Failure to do so IS a felony. So, when ACORN paid canvassers based on how many forms they turned in, they got a certain number of enterprising individuals who went around faking their work. No one ever made a case that the national organization was involved in voter fraud, although the right wing noise machine worked that assumption relentlessly. They made ACORN into a code word. Most conservatives, including the one I was just debating with, can't tell you the facts behind the code word. That's how this works. The ACORN thing was also a deflection strategy. After the GOP ran the most massive voter caging operation in US history in Florida in 2000, they did it again in Ohio in 2004, and were prepared to roll out the strategy on a national level coordinated through the Justice Department and the White House Chief of Staff in 2006. In order to do that, a smokescreen was needed. And Andrew Breitbart and James O'Keefe and Fox Noise manufactured it for Rove. This "voter fraud" was associated with Democrats, even though there was little evidence of it, while real voter fraud, voter supression and voter intimidation was being conducted in a systematic way by Repubicans in states all across the land. This was one of Karl Rove's more successful campaigns.
yea, you should try it start by admitting you posted a link to a source that discusses dinosaurs on noah's ark
nope, Im not going to lie. I referenced a video about the earth, and your making crap up. Get a grip dude.
let's see if you're lying or not did you or did you not reference a video on the same site that discusses dinosaurs on noah's ark?
i've read them and i don't remember them saying i couldn't tell the truth about what you posted a fit? what a joke, this is fun exposing the truth it's quite obvious who's being dishonest, here's your link: and a link to the thread where you posted it: http://www.politicalforum.com/current-events/259326-antarctica-once-covered-palm-trees-scientists-discover-16.html
Youre not exposing (*)(*)(*)(*) except your inability to follow the forum rules regarding trolling, and wasting space. I didnt reference a noahs ark story about dinosaurs not being on noahs ark. You are making crap up, and its got nothing to do with the thread topic. Id report your punk ass, but I have a personal policy not to report anyone to any mod. You can thank me for my integrity now.
i haven't made anything up, everything i wrote is exactly correct you're just too dishonest to admit you referenced a site that discusses dinosaurs on noah's ark
The bigger problem is what is honest conservative news? Because if the election of 2012 taught us anything is that Fox news will present only what it's viewers want to hear and not the real truth. Fox viewers didn't want to hear about Obama leading, so they told those viewers the opposite. It's not that the conservative message isn't being honestly reported, its that today's conservative is much like a Michael Bay movie, all noise and bluster but no real substantial truth in the story. Although in all fairness, the other TV news outlets are just as bad. They all have given up on honest reporting and only want to present what will garner the best ratings instead of presenting honest facts.
It's the trap built-in to a system of propaganda....which is clearly what Fox is. By only telling its audience what it WANTS to hear...to keep raitings up and to keep the audience tuned in on the lastest "victory on all fronts" (to quote "1984"'s Ministry of Truth).....they risk reality dealing them a royal b-slap, as occurred on November 6th, 2012. Then, suspicion becomes rampant in SOME of the audience that "We're only being told what we want to hear"....and the next time Fox says something, to boost spirits? No spirits are boosted because they've grown cynical at what they're fed. After "Romney landslide"....how can any thinking Fox viewer (yes, that may be an oxymoron) NOT conceive ....that they're being lied to???
dick morris was wrong, bfd turn on msnbc, and its nothing but whitey hating rage and lies. ask Zimmerman if you dont believe me.
gawker says one thing, another news agency says another... Is this the only issue you have with the other 5 links I posted and the list of the 26 acorn workers who have been convicted?
It is a BFD, if you're going to pass yourself off as a news organization. Dick Morris wasn't wrong, he was lying. He was telling you what you wanted to believe, so you'll stay tuned in. That isn't journalism or news. And it shows very little respect for that audience in that the people in charge think they can game you for advertising dollars by lying to you until the inevitable truth emerges. To be sure, this happens a lot of Fox News, where pandering to the prejudices of its dedicated audience takes all presidence over real news. It wouldn't be a big deal ,of Fox was called, the Conservative Spin Zone. But it pretends to be a news organization, representing itself as "fair and balanced" and implying, that because it claims to be a news organization, that it should have credibility. But it doesn't. Dick Morris knew he was lying to his audience. So does Roger Ailes. They don't care. And neither do the dittoheads. Fox knows from experience that telling its audience news that they don't want to hear makes them change the channel. And Fox only cares about ratings and the advertising dollars that come with it. The 2012 cycle ended forever, any pretense that Rasmussen is a legitimate polling organization. They have now been laughed off the stage. In 1948, Gallup stopped polling the Presidential election, and predicted an easy victory for Tom Dewey. It spent the rest of the century living that down. So, in the world of news and credibility, it IS a big deal.
We can find plenty of stories noting that the infamous "pimp and ho"video was faked. That's very well known. It is also well known that Fox Noise knew it was faked and used it anyway. And we can bury you in links to that effect.
I trust O'Reilly and his education level over any pundit on the left. I trust you're hoping for an alien invasion like Paul Krugman to save the planet?
Yeah, see, when you talk about "education level" in one breath and then mischaracterize Krugman's statements in quite possibly the dumbest way possible in the next, I have to wonder if there's not some deity of irony I've run afoul of.
