So your referring to the 350 migrants who went ahead of the group. The main caravan is still weeks away. Those 350 represent about 1% of the numbers that cross that port daily.

You keep dodging the question. WHY were troops deployed months in advance of them reaching our borders, and a week before the election ?

Do you not see that the same arguments you make today were made at every successive immigration wave that has occured since this country's founding?

Do you wish to deport all the Irish, Italians, Catholics, and Chinese now living in America?

Would you argue that any of these ethnicities and religions failed to assimilate into the greater American culture?

Are you so dense as not to see that your arguments are based in fear and xenophobic hyperbole, as were the arguments against every single wave of immigration that this country has received?

I would argue that each of these immigrant waves added to the greater makeup of American society. You would choose to cower and hurl insults at the "others", while wrapped in an American flag.

I agree. Legal immigration is one thing, but a big crowd of thousands of gate crashers who are just making a big push to get in the US for the free stuff is that last thing in the world that this country needs. Any liberal who supports this is a traitor against America.

 

Why are the Mayans fleeing violence and poverty for a better life so special? There are literally billions of people all over the world living in similar circumstances. I live in an agricultural area. Every day I drive by fields being tended to by brown people while at every freeway off ramp their is a white guy panhandling for money.
