The republicans repealed the individual mandate in December 2017 but that wasn't to go into effect until 2019.

It's 2019 today and how far have republicans progressed on planning and presenting their new health care plan? Have they 'repealed and replaced' as Trump promised? No, of course they haven't because they can't come up with anything better that is cost effective yet provides adequate health insurance for people of all ages.

Conservatives love to complain and curse President Obama, they enjoy shaking their fists and condemning and criticizing the ACA, but without it, 22 million people would have no other source for health care. The republicans can't even come up with a vague, general plan of what they want to replace it with because literally there is no better option. So the next time you curse the ACA in anger and refer to it as the 'grotesque and deadly ACA', you should stop and give this real thought and ask yourself, what did the republicans give 20 million American citizens to replace it with?

Well this huge increase in health insurance premiums and deductibles so high that 50 million can't even use their insurance so many just drop it and only 22 million got a piece of paper saying they had "insurance" which is only half the number claimed would have "free insurance" doesn't sound like a promise kept. And yes like most government programs once put into place almost impossible to change let alone get rid off. But there have been changes made to try and get cost down and the coverages people actually need.

News Flash, Health Insurance is not Health Care. Millions put on expanded Medicaid but can find no doctor who will accept it. They still have to go to the emergency room for their health care.
