You know I really don't care about this gay pride event, or the big party they had with gays dancing to songs played by the marines. But this is the type of crap that gives the gays a bad name in my view. Its stuff like this, and parades where they are dressed up in leather, and thongs dancing in the streets skipping around like fairies

If you want to be gay fine, but don't (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about it when those in the gay community act a certain way and then that behavior is looked down upon.

What? Not everyone has respect for Reagan? Amazing, and I can not understand why.

I mean certainly Reagan had the best interests of the gay community at heart when he said this.

In Dutch … Edmund Morris writes Mr. Reagan once said of AIDS, ‘Maybe the Lord brought down this plague,’ because ‘illicit sex is against the Ten Commandments.”

    http://www.intellectualconservative.com/article2805.html

Reagan did, after all, ignore AIDS for years. Hundreds of thousands of American infected, and he did not even mention it until 1986.

Do you judge an entire group of people based on what one screwball does?
There are plenty of people from any group that are an embarrassment. 2 people out of the hundreds that were there did something stupid, and disrespectful so ALL gay activists are like that?

The gays who did this likely know nothing about any of that. They are told to hate Reagan by the likes of Rachel Maddow and the cabal of retards on MSNBC, and that's all they need.

I'm glad the left hates Reagan. His message "I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts" is against everything a liberal believes in.

I see no evidence of such.

Reagan was many things, and not all of them good, in my wise opinion.

He had little respect for the law, he was fixated on spending his perceived enemies into oblivion, and he substituted charm and photo ops for thought and leadership.

Now was this appropriate behavior for these folks while inside the White House? No, obviously not. However, I understand the grudge the gay community has with Reagan.

Oh no, I'm not judging the entire group. It just gives the group as a whole a bad wrap.

Which is not really the issue. The issue is that they were invited guests of Barack Obama. That their photo-op was enabled by Obama. Maybe Obama can keep his riff-raff out of the WH ....... ya think ;)

No Consmike, I am not. Is that actually a point that is in confusion?

I mean, I clearly stated in the post you quoted that I was talking about Reagan, and the thread itself is about Reagan, so I am not sure why you would think I was talking about someone else.

I was just asking because the things you stated sounded like Obama. Enjoy your weekend!

This is almost as rude as a congressman saying "You LIE" in the middle of a presidential speech.

It only makes the group as a whole look bad if you are judging the whole group by the action of a few.

Come January 20, 2013, the White House will need to be fumigated and scrubbed down thoroughly.

I don't know why. I am a stickler for staying on topic. I clearly stated in my post, the post you quoted, that I was discussing Reagan.

Actually, Thinks, President Reagan had the best interest of the U.S. and Americans at interet. It's a concept liberals who pick and choose the groups they'll support understand.

But this happens alot. Instead of people such as we see on these boards who are gay, stating that what these people did was stupid, they defend their actions.

I don't really see the problem. I have a picture of George and Barbra on top of my toilet, because that's where they deserve to be. It's funny, my friend thought that I had it up there because I like them, had to set her straight before she left the house :)

So if you were in the White House, you would also finger, and moon a picture of president Reagan?

Consmike, I clearly stated this earlier in this thread.

Let me reiterate this so it is clear.

One, I was talking about Reagan, not Obama. I am in a thread where Reagan is a topic, and in the post that you questioned I was clearly talking about Reagan, as I said who it was I was referring to.

Two, I do not approve of this action. I think it is silly and immature, I think published the pictures demonstrates how silly and immature the folks that did this are. I clearly stated my disapproval earlier in this thread.

Now, I believe I have been explicit clear on who I am talking about and what I think of these actions.

The problem is that Reagan didn't follow through on that rhetoric.
