Gay pride has no right or use inside the military.
DADT was discriminatory but this is just a step too far.

Things need to be equal according to the practices of our government and our military, they should not be skewed to pander to one audience over another.

I'm right handed...and I'm dam proud to be right handed. I demand to be recognized for my right handed-ness. I was born right handed and I like being right handed. I'm gonna shove my right handed pride in your face. 'Right is Right'.

The above rant is as stupid as having "pride" in ones sexual preference.

I'm sure the left handed would disagree with you on that one.

You have gay PEOPLE in the military (and always have). I've been around the machines, guns and PEOPLE for all of my adult life. We have a level of "recognition" for virtually all kinds of human beings.

There IS a place for recognizing "gays" in the military. Not that it makes us anymore important than others, but that it be openly acknowledged we are 'included'. It's a good thing.

No. As an active member of the U.S. Military... I can tell you that this is no problem whatsoever; it is in fact a positive thing. There are some older Baby-Boomers left over (like me) who don't handle "gay" as well as those who are younger... but being gay in the military is no big deal and never was. Remember and get used to the reality... that we/they have always been in there doing the job of defending America.

That isn't what's happening. So, don't freak out over this.

I agree. Equal rights, but homos should not flaunt it.

When that "pride" replaces rejection and/or shame... it isn't "stupid" at all; it is a trimuph.

And if one thinks that homosexuality is some mere "preference"... they really don't know what they are saying.

Left handed people are second class citizens. What they think doesn't matter. Just because they have a left handed president occupying the white house they think that they're special and things are going their way..but they're not RIGHT..The world is made for right handed people.

And this is the type of thinking that led left handed people to be discrimanted against.

These groups been in existence since before DADT was repealed. It's good that they're able to meet openly now though.

You mean 'wrong' handed...Left arms should be super glued to an infants body at birth..in order to stamp out the left hand malady...Restrain to Re-train

So despite the fact that you say that you were born right handed, you don't think that being born left handed is the same?
