https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladi...ogs-sold-at-wuhan-wet-market/?sh=c70855d6875b Aha. So there is a strong link that Covid hopped from a wild animal to us humans, so say scientists. While the freaking hordes of people are undoubtingly putting their money on the US department of energy and what -of all people- THEY believe with... LOW confidence. And so there it is. Convinced?
The evidence for SARS_Cov_2 jumping from animals to humans has always been stronger than the lab theory. The US department of energy made their low confidence statement without any new evidence whatsoever. It’s quite amusing to see people arguing strenuously that there must have been a lab leak based on ‘low confidence’. The new evidence of the genetic link to raccoon dogs is very convincing when added to all the other data related to an animal origin.
1) This is a "study" run primarily by the Chinese Communist Party which absolutely has an agenda to misdirect from reality. 2) The "study's" own findings say: The findings, however, do not definitively prove that raccoon dogs carried the virus or it passed from them into humans and it also does not rule out the possibility of other animals at the wet market having the virus. 3) The swab tests were done in late 2022 which means the dogs, like several other animals, were definitely exposed to the virus by the general outbreak in China years after the first outbreak. We have only the CCP's word, which is never trustworthy, about the supposed finding as no outside investigations have been allowed by the communist Chinese. 4) There is very little reason to believe this CCP attempt to muddy the water as the actions to cover up the original out break prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the CCP deliberately was destroying and hiding evidence of its guillt. The Wuhan lab remains the most likely source by far. The CCP is simply running a garbage propaganda campaign to cover that up just like they have been doing since 2019.
Oh yea and that wet market where this took place just so happened to be near a bio lab. Hmm... Not any of the many many other wet markets around the world. And the fact that lab technicians from that same lab were first to be admitted to the hospital with a severe illness over a month before the full outbreak started to take hold has no link in yours or cover up opinions is preposterous.....
Covid 19 RNA was found in Spain in a sample of sewage water taken nearly a year before anyone had heard of "covid"
Did the animals arrive at the market alive or dead? If they were alive, it's possible that humans or other animals infected them there. I guess the best evidence would be if the genetic material were one that died before getting to the market, but others were alive. Meaning the virus had to have been from the wild, but there were some living creatures to pass it on at the market.
the DNA of covid changes rather easy with a bit here and a bit there. And with that they can trace it back. In this case, back to an animal. It's starts to hit the insane implausible numbers that some human transferred it to a wild animal and than it went back to a human, without it being spread to others.
No the alternate hypothesis would be it leaks from the nearby lab, there were humans infected by the lab going to the market, and they infected animals in addition to more humans. This alternate hypothesis would be basically disproven if an animal showed up dead with covid, though. Then they must have been infected elsewhere, such as the wild.
Such a path got a utter dead low plausibility due to how they can trace back the virus with the ever changing DNA.
