Are statistics lies? Is pointing out crime statistics something we should ignore because the truth is inconvenient? Are people seriously arguing that the policeman did not kill him because the autopsy showed he did not die of strangulation? Was this his last day on earth regardless of what happened in the street? That seems to be the logical conclusion if you believe the cop is innocent of murder. Floyd was about to die of his conditions and the cop just had bad luck. Is that really what some are arguing in this thread?

Why do you think that COVID-19 hit the African American community harder? Could it be that they are ignoring social distancing requirements?

As I have posted many times, I live in a city that has a 76% population. Every where I go, there are African Americans that are not practicing social distancing. As I have also stated that some individuals have threaten physical violence for asking them to back up. Every store has stickers on the floor telling customer where to stand to practice social distance, but these are ignored by many in the African Americans community. I have passed food banks, and see the African Americans standing no more then two feet apart. So, if they are ignoring social distancing, then it stands to reason that they would be hit harder by this virus. Those in my city have also ignored the states shutdown order. They have opened their bars, and they are packed every night. The rioters are ignoring social distancing. The participants of these protests have caused a flair up of reported cases of COVID-19.

 

They are pointing out black people as a statistic, not claiming their blackness caused it. That is your straw man.

I haven’t called you names, simply pointing out you are speaking nonsense and I have addressed it appropriately. Because they are the statistical Anomaly when it comes to crime. That’s not the same as claiming it is their skin color as the cause. If you can’t acknowledge this then we have no where to go till you do, but persistence is key so I’m more than willing to participate as long as necessary.
