Yeppers, he was found not guilty - just like OJ, Casey Anthony, Bill Clinton, Robert Blake, Fatty Arbuckle, Lizzy Borden, Claus von Bulow, William Kennedy Smith, Michael Jackson, Lorena Bobbitt, Richard James Herrin, Robert Durst, and Isaac Turnbaugh, to name a few. They are all equally 'innocent.'

Nuance - it can be a real bitch...

So he has gone crazy. I guess that might have been a worse consequence than prison.

OJ got free on a technicality. Zimmerman didn’t do a single thing illegal. There is ZERO proof he initiated a confrontation and shot someone in cold blood. But there is mounds of evidence showing a clear case of self defense and that is as legal as it gets. You are allowed to defend your life by killing your attacker in FL. I know. Many leftists felt that he should have allowed himself to die at the hands of this kind and compassionate cute little cuddly teenager just walking “home” minding his own business drinking a slushy and studying for his exam so he can work towards those straight As. :)
There was no nuance. Just easy to follow evidence that showed a clear case of self defense.

And all those journalists who speculated and even pushed outright lies are truly disgusting human beings. Hey, Zimmerman was no angel but he’s no murderer.

Martine wasn't innocent and had he survived he'd have gone to jail.

In court and at the DOJ, what proved otherwise?

No one said otherwise it was an affirmative defense. What's your point?

He had every right to get out of his car and he was complying with the request of the dispatcher to let them know where Martin ran off to. He didn't leave his car to kill Martin, stop with the knowingly fallacious statements. He had every right to be armed just like anyone else. He did report it to the police and was letting them handle it as they would be arriving any second due to his calling them when Martin assaulted him. And there was no stalking, get your law right.

He created the situation that caused Martin's death and then directly caused it himself. The preponderance of the evidence makes that clear

The situation was over until Martin went to the T junction to assault Zimmerman. The preponderance of the evidence makes that clear. Martin could have simply ignored Zimmerman from the getgo, gone back and into the apartment ate his Skittles and watched the basketball game. Instead he first tried to intimidate Zimmerman and then confronted and assault him. The preponderance of the evidence makes that clear.

He left his car after the dispatcher told him "we don't need you to do that. " He had every right to get out of his car but he did not have every right to confront Martin, (You don't have the right to confront someone who is not trespassing on your own property, You may approach someone and speak to them but they have every right to ignore you and walk away, they can even make rude noises). Then he purposely pursued Martin, what do you call that but stalking?

He was an armed man confronting an unarmed one. This places an obligation on him to exercise care so as not to escalate the situation. Instead, he exacerbated it even after a trained professional had told him the entire situation wasn't necessary in the first place and then directly caused the other man's death. That is clearly a wrongful death. (Actually, it could be manslaughter, the prosecutor clearly overcharged, which was one reason Zimmerman got off)

How did he try to intimidate Zimmerman, and how was that illegal?
At the first Zimmerman pursued Martin. We have no way of knowing how much fear Martin was being put into

False you can't even get that basic fact right. The dispatcher didn't say that Zimmerman until Zimmerman had exited his vehicle and made it all the way up to the T junction, Martin had run off a minute before that and Zimmerman had no idea where he was. What the dispatcher had told him while in his car was let them know what he does.

Martin confronted him first at the car and then at the T junction. And no under Florida law that is not a stalking.

He was an armed man who was confronted by someone who then assaulted him. That places him the right to defend himself against serious bodily harm or death. Get your facts straight.

No what was the evidence that proved Zimmerman assaulted Martin and was out to kill him even though he had called the policed to come to where he was and after the dispatcher told him they would be arriving any second?

When he approached Zimmerman's car and walked around it making funny faces and reaching into his waistband, did not ever read the transcript or pay attention the the trial? We have the testimony of the girl friend who was on the phone with him, Martin ran back to the apartment then figured he go whip some arse and went two buildings back to the T-junction where he attempted to do so. The evidence was quite clear.

Zimmerman: Hey we've had some break-ins in my neighborhood, and there's a
real suspicious guy, uh, [near] Retreat View Circle, urn, the best address I can
give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or
he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking
    about.

Dispatcher: OK, and this guy is he white, black, or Hispanic?

    Zimmerman: He looks black.

Dispatcher: Did you see what he was wearing?

Zimmerman: Yeah. A dark hoodie, like a grey hoodie, and either jeans or
sweatpants and white tennis shoes. He's [unintelligible], he was just staring...

Dispatcher: OK, he's just walking around the area...

Zimmerman: ...looking at all the houses.

    Dispatcher: OK...

Zimmerman: Now he's just staring at me.

Dispatcher: OK— you said it's 1111 Retreat View? Or 111?

    Zimmerman: That's the clubhouse...

Dispatcher: That's the clubhouse, do you know what the — he's near the
    clubhouse right now?

Zimmerman: Yeah, now he's coming towards me.
    Dispatcher: OK.

Zimmerman: He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male.

If Martin was so scared why did he walk TOWARDS Zimmerman instead of merely ignore him and keep going back to the apartment, and don't give me conjecture give me facts and evidence presented at the trial.

maybe what you say is true, we will never know, but even if it was, that just means both Martin AND Zimmerman made bad choices that night

Martin paid for it with his life, Zimmerman is paying for it by being an outcast of society for life

if Martin was white, would he have had the right to stand his ground to the perp stalking him at night with a gun?

Yea we do know from the map and the timing of the phone call and the forensic evidence. The person who made the bad decision was Martin when he decide to go to the T junction and play bad hodie and attack the person who he been watching him. And stop claiming there was a stalking.

If I am siting on my front porch and a suspicious person walks by and I walk out to the curb to see which way they go do they have a right to come back and assault me an threaten me with serious bodily harm.
