    Or possibly the petri dish.

We'll see in a couple of weeks what the results of that experiment are.

What will be the response if the infection rate and death toll spikes?

The proper question is who will be responsible if the hospitals and healthcare systems get overwhelmed. Also, who gets the credit if it isn't.

    Yup ...it's a gamble.

I hope it works out but I'm skeptical

If it fails...it sets back really opening by a long time and kills a lot of people...

Sorry, they shifted that goalpost weeks ago once it became abundantly clear that no one anywhere in the country was going to be denied a bed and ventilator.

Now the pivot is all about how many fake deaths they can tote up in the big blue cities using the scammy CDC "guidelines" and screeching abstract death counts out of context over and over.

I'm in GA, and even if the Tunguska Blast lands on Atlanta full of space plague, we aren't ever going to be scammed by this kind of Unconstitutional canard again. That was a one time dealie, and I am 12th generation proud of my state for being early in recognizing the farce.

Nothing much has changed in the Peach State we're just relaxing the police state a little. People here are still using common sense and doing much better than the geniuses still operating subways in NYC. Talk about breeding viruses!

    And they call us stupid.

Well the entire #flattenthecurve was never about saving lives, it was about stretching out the time period keep the medical system from being overwhelmed.

Well no one can seem to define where they've moved to goal posts to, so I don't know now officially what is the new goal. As for the inflated COVID death rates, at least I can understand the rationale for that. States now expect to get reimbursement from the feds in a future "stimulus" bill. That's why they were honest about the COVID deaths earlier, but fraudulent about them now.

New York is operating the subways and public transit so that NECESSARY workers like nurses, doctors and others that do not own cars in NYC, can get to work and back home.

You should be happy. You're getting what you want.

In 2-3 weeks we'll see if you were right.

I suspect not. Maybe that's why you don't seem so happy
