The Turk. Welcome the world of agent provocateurs taunting muslims with their hatespeech. Being an "anti-Nazi" now is a moral crime it would seem. I have been to Turkey. I went with 45,000 other football fans to a fantastic city. I observed a secular country, obsessed with Kemal Attaturk, whose attitude to religion was comparable to that of a country run by Christian Democrats. Spain is far more of a religious country, as far as I can see, than Turkey is. All countries have their nutters that want to turn them into "Caliphates". You don't have to look far to see the Christian Talibani on here who want to forcibly silence "liberals" and who slander people they don't agree with by demonizing their position. If you want to see people who salivate at the prospect of executing people, lopping people's hands off, imprisoning their enemies, persecuting gay people, shoving women back into the home, outlawing the teaching of evolution, then you don't need to look further than some of the "Christian" extremists on this board. There are important points that Turkish secularists need to face up to vis a vis the Armenian genocide for example. But on the whole it is Germany's disgraceful racism, and refusal to give proper citizenship to the "gastarbeiter" (sounds like some horrible Nazi euphemism) that is the problem here. Turkey has always been European, like Russia, going back to the Ottaman Empire days. Byzantium was a cradle of Western civilization. Europeans have nothing to fear from secular Turks. On the contrary, Turkey, with its Kemalist model, can be a beacon for an islamic Reformation or Enlightenment. This is what the West should be doing with Turkey - using soft power to boost Turkey in the region as an example of where the arab spring should take us. With a democratic arabia coming together with a secular Christian Europe, Turkey can play an historic role in bringing modernity to lands which have been, for the benefit of imperialists or American cold war warriors, sacrificed as buffer states in a "great game".
Our racism is that some parts of the population grow sick and tired to tolerate the blood trail Turks and espacially Kurds produce here in Germany by their murders in the tubes. That these murderers earn the ful sympathy of the "Sun" and the majority of the British people is not suprising.
There is some truth in it, but it is extremely difficult to identify the PKK scum. Think about how difficult it is for your security forces to fight them, now consider how difficult it is for a foreign country with less knowlegde about and less experince with these terrorists to hunt them down. Nevertheless there is still a Turkish-German problem.
Dont spread the Muslim lies and better give the stolen Armenian territories back. Look how many christians were killed by Turks and other Muslims. http://www.neobyzantine.org/movement/problems/index.php
Interesting what huge outrage will be in Turkey if Germany dare to sent back millions of illegal Turks immigrants who swallowed annual billions of tax money.( Duldung Status ).
Probably a nice idea, but without EU and Christian money, at best take all Turks parasites who have never worked and consume billions of tax money to Turkey back.
I am completely okay with the idea that the illegal Turks in Germany should go back to Turkey. On the other hand there are not that amount of illegal Turks there. If you check the map of Europe, you will see that it's impossible for millions of Turks to go Germany illegally. Turks go Germany by plane, how can thousands of illegals Turks go there without a trouble? Many Turks you mentioned are actually legal immigrants.
Funny, that you should mention football. Inter (Milan) in court over 'Crusader' kit A Turkish lawyer is suing Inter Milan for taking to the field against Fenerbahce wearing a kit he claims is 'offensive to Muslim sensibilities'. Inter wore the shirt, which is white with a red cross emblazoned on the front, in last month's 3-0 Champions League win over the Turks at the San Siro. Inter kit Crossed purposes: Inter (left) Watching the game on television, Izmir lawyer Baris Kaska decided the crosses reminded him of the symbol of the Christian Crusades against Islam, and felt Inter had 'manifested in the most explicit manner the superiority of one religion over another.' He added: 'It made me think immediately of the bloody days of the past. While I was watching the game I felt profound grief in my soul.' Now Kaska is demanding damages, and has also lodged a complaint with a local court urging UEFA to annul the result of the match. Inter officials, who thought better of wearing the kit in the away tie in Istanbul, say they are 'astounded' at the legal action. They pointed out that the red cross on a white background is a symbol of the city of Milan and comissioned the kit to mark the club's centenary. The team let its fans vote over the Internet late last year to pick a 2008/2009 season jersey among 16 proposed models. Despite the fans enthusiasm for this innovation, Eintracht has ignored the result and chosen to use the runner-up design. As the team explained on its website: The Eintracht cross jerseyAfter a close examination, we have decided that the winning jersey with the cross unfortunately cannot be used because the symbol on the front has a religious background. Inter Milan, an Italian club with a long tradition, has appeared in the current Champions League competition in a similar jersey and been strongly criticised for it. So after careful consideration, Eintracht Frankfurt has gone back and chosen the second jersey, which came in a close second in the vote. The Eintracht eagle jerseyThe runner-up that came out on top has what Eintracht calls hints of eagle claws on the front and a stylised eagle on the shoulder. The citys coat-of-arms has a red eagle that also figures on the Eintracht team logo. So why the change? It turns out that a Turkish lawyer (and Fenerbahçe fan) asked UEFA in December to invalidate an Inter Milan victory over the Istanbul team in the Champions League last November because the red cross on the Italian jerseys recalled the Knights Templar crusaders. Shortly afterwards, the Barcelona daily La Vanguardia reported that fake FC Barcelona jerseys were on sale in Saudi Arabia with the crossbar removed from the cross on the teams emblem. Eintracht doesnt mention this Christian/Muslim angle explicitly, but it takes only a few clicks to find it. Eintrachts fan forum erupted with comments. The main thread on the jersey is up to 1,728 and climbing, many defending the loser as simply a better design. Almost 500 fans have signed a petition against the winner. The religious angle seemed irrelevant to most of them. http://blogs.reuters.com/faithworld/2008/03/22/german-soccer-team-shies-away-from-cross-on-jersey/ Premiere of the new concord jerseys Eintracht Frankfurt and its suppliers Jako say "thank you". More than 600 Supporters and friends of the eagle-bearer followed the call, proposals to make way for a new design for the away and third kit, the Bundesliga club for the 2008/09 season. Eintracht Frankfurt and its suppliers Jako say "thank you". More than 600 supporters and friends of the Eagle carriers have followed the call to submit proposals for a new design for the away and third kit, the Bundesliga club for the 2008/09 season. In an online poll for registered users on the official club website, www.eintracht.de, 16 creations were presented. There were two clear winners: first place went to a white jersey, showing to the front of a large black, tapering below, the cross. Landed in second place, close behind, a model that indicated on the front claws and eagle adorns a stylized eagle on the shoulder. After detailed examination it was found that the winning jersey with the cross is unfortunately not feasible because the symbol on the front has a religious background. Since the Italian tradition of Inter Milan in a similar shirt in the current Champions League competition had begun and been criticized for is sharp, has Eintracht Frankfurt after careful consideration, in retrospect, for the second winner of Jersey decided that in the vote just on the second rank was. In the competitive tender in December of last year, Eintracht Frankfurt, the winner of the voting had promised a grand prize, the winner of course get both. Launch of the new away jerseys or evasion is expected to close in June 2008. The black and red jersey from the current season will continue in 2008/09 home shirt from Eintracht Frankfurt. After final approval by the German Football League, which is the original jersey during a press conference of our present. http://www.eintracht.de/aktuell/23744/ _
I remember that incident. As far as I remember the lawyer never said that it was offensive to Islam, he claimed that it was against secularism, which is understandable.
Well,to be honest I consider that as kind of an excuse in general.Because its not a few days problem. If German goverment was sincere, they would do whats necessary through out decades. Because the demands and the documents which Turkish goverment provided to western EU countries regarding the activities of Pkk has been obvious for years. But the attitude towards the problem of them is more like "if it doesnt bite me,let it live".If a Pkk admin can take a plane from Vienna to Northern Iraq and police lets that happen,I cant really put this into "hard to identify" category. (just a small example)
Not that I like Erdoğan, but what's your explaination about Erdoğan's promotion of secularism in Arab World following the Arab Spring?
He threated to expel Armenians living in Turkey illegally, which Turkey have been tolerating. He did not do anyway. Not that everyone sick racist bigoted morons as you are. You know what? Turks settled in Anatolia years years before "Americans" settled in modern day United States, but we don't (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about it.
If Turks work, do not get benefits from the state, try to integrate themselves, are not Islamists or criminals, there are not problems with those. Unfortunately a big lot of those are illegal or criminal, have never work and try to establish a Caliphate in Germany.
Your Erdogan is probably a nice guy for you, but we know his statement about Democracy, Tram and Minarets. The Turks in Germany must begin to study German Language, to work, to stop Crime and to try to integrate themselves. In any case Turkey is hundred times more civilizer and European ( thanks your Atatürk ) as all Arab countries together.
Dont mistake Turks with Kurd terrorism supporters or the existence of Pkk terrorist organization in Germany is not a problem for you? Most kurds tell they are Turks when they commit a crime abroad because immigrants are not registered according to ethnicity in europe.
Then take all this morons to Turkey back, at best together with their leftists supporters.Probably you are right because it is impossible to separate Kurds from Turks, nevertheless Germany should prohibit PKK and all other Terrorists or Extremists organizations. BTW I have respect to your Atatürk, he was really a Great Person who made Turkey more European, hundred times better as all your Islamics morons. If Atatürk continues to be the Turkey President it would join the EU already in 1960. For your Information the Germans Turks are mostly very dumb, they hate Atatürk and want to establish Sharia law in Europa. Probably if you take this morons back and replace them by more civilized and educated Turks from Turkey who will work and integrate in German society the Problem with Turks emigrants will be lower.
It is possible to seperate. From skin color, accent and attitude, face etc.Maybe you cant but we can seperate. The reason they act like that is most of the kurd refugees have Turkish citizenship ID.Typing insults wont make you win any argument loser.
Than you should work more closer with German medias and Police, the Kurds refuse to work, are criminal and probably throw the entirely Turks Group to disrepute. But only very few people know something about Kurds.
Something we agree on.Very few know about them yes. They are served as innocent freedom fighters in the western media thats why not much people know their weird life style and traditions.
And consistent with Turkey insisting on the separation between church and state. Which is the legacy of Attaturk. No?
At last, I don't care how criminal Turkish citizens here are to be distinguished, it's not my problem how Turks define their groups. We never asked for criminals joining this country.
