I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if the issue of the sources of international law has been discussed. Well, here it is anyway.

Treaties are a source of international law. Therefore the Oslo accords, the treaty between Israel and the PLO, is a source of international law.

Here's what the Oslo accords have to say about Jerusalem and the settlements:

My question is: didn't the UN break international law and disregard principles of international law when it issued resolutions regarding Jerusalem and the settlements - issues that should be solved in direct negotiations between Israel and the PA according to international law generated by Oslo accords ?
