    I don't even think it's that logical.

    I think it's more along the lines of,
    1) gun owners particularly the ones that are outspoken about gun ownership tend to be more conservative, not necessarily but there is a tendency. And conservatives and people that lean more toward that way tend to be less woke unless into identity politics and therefore they're bad and everything they think or do is bad so I must oppose all of it.

    2) deny them gun rights because it upsets them.

    Yeah I know it's tribalistic nonsense but I think that's what the entirety of this argument is.

    oh I agree-that's what motivates the gun controllers but I was dealing with the facade they promote. crime control is what motivates the law wattage sheeple who support gun control reflexively. Those who actively promote it are all about control and political harassment

    A simple thing to point out is that there are 50 million people owning guns in the country if owning guns and then you're a prone to crime there would be a lot more of it.
