Why does it matter if he wants an open marriage? That's his choice. It's a lot better than cheating, isn't it? Open marriages are a good thing. If more people had them, the divorce rate would probably go down, and cheating would definitely go down.

It's natural for men to want to be womanizers. Considering he has a lot of money and is famous, he is in a good position to do it. Why hold that against him? This has absolutely nothing to do with running a country.

 

Well, he asked for an open marriage "after" he cheated...on the second wife. He cheated on the first wife too. Then he blamed you for it. He was serving you and the country too much to be loyal to his wife. He couldn't even take personal responsibility for his own scumbaggery.

And what matters about this is that the party that he is seeking nomination of have claimed themselves the "family values, sanctity of marriage" party. And they leverage that position to deny others the right to have choice in who they marry. As well as using that moral high ground position to try to deprive others of other freedoms and choices as well.

Meanwhile they give a standing ovation to this scumbag who has walked all over the supposed party values by being a serial adulterer. That's what the matter is.

You are right that Newt will answer to the people and these are some of the questions that we want answered.

 

Like I have said before, there is nothing inspiring about this man or what he has to offer. Newt can have the nomination for all I care. Because when it comes to November, his racist tirades and belittling of minorities will not win any votes for him outside of the extreme republican base. Which so far is the only support he has.

I just think its funny that because I'm offering productive criticism about a Republican candidate then it must mean that by default I fit into whatever the liberal stereotype of the day is. I never voted for Obama in 2008 and I wont be voting for him in 2012. But if my choice is between Gingrich or Obama, i'll probably just stay home and watch some TV instead.

So you will vote for the man who could not balance the budget nor even put us on target to do so and has given us 3 years of massive unemployment with no end in sight.
