You can tell yourself and everyone else this lie, but we know it for the lie it is. Democrats just NEVER ever think the other side will use their own tactics against them. It should be an interesting 4 years.

I can get used to hearing alot of fake news. It started already.

 

I think it is lost- or more correctly stolen, as you point out. One has to ask how that can be done. I think all a person needs to do is look at the history of the liberal/dems since Trump announced he would run, and you have the answer; immoral plots and conspiracy became SOP for them. The left recognized Trump would be a major game-changer in American politics, and that would be very detrimental to the people who relied on manipulation and false promises to retain power. All moral values that stood in the way of stopping him were discarded quickly- something honorable people would never do. Consider the dossier thing, a fraud paid for by a presidential candidate and her party to create a scandal. As Trump's term progressed and crap like this got thrown at him non-stop, I fully expected that there were still enough people of character among democrats to revolt against a party that had lost itself, and demand that it conduct itself with some integrity instead of behaving like a pack of jackals or drunken racoons. When they found it convenient to magnify the Covid crisis by throwing in the riots and police hate, then actually tolerating and apologizing for the thugs, it was pretty clear that the very worst of them was being tolerated by the majority of them, and the party was unable to discipline itself at all. Any mature person knows that violence and radical views are destructive, dangerous, and once allowed out of the box- would turn on anyone, including the people who let them loose. When they decide it's time to turn that off and put them back in the box, they are going to find it impossible. The very thing that allowed them to succeed is most likely going to destroy them next.

The senate holds. That is the firewall against crazy legislation. It controls the confirmation of appointments, thus a firewall against the kind of political bias the democrats want to bring into the legal system.

And of course, Thomas Jefferson told us long ago that "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." These people have no moral limits, and the core reason for the second amendment seems a lot more obvious today than it has in years. Let's hope that isn't necessary... and be totally prepared in case it is.

I don't know what lies nor tactics you're referring to, but whatever they may be, who will be your leader? Will Trump continue to hold power over Republicans after he leaves office? If not, who emerges to take his place?

Exceptionally well said as usual; but I shall toss a bit of fuel on this fire and point out -- for the second time in this thread -- that the Right holds onto the Senate by a narrow enough margin that all it takes now are a few under the table offers of really nice retirement packages from the DNC's perpetual slush fund for enough RINO senators to retire early to begin making a real difference. For some odd reason I am feeling particularly cynical right now.

Democrats have for months now informed us Trump will never leave office. I sure hope that prediction is true.

 

I suspect that whomever the next republican candidate is- he will follow in Trump's path in terms of policy, and be better at keeping voters thinking he's just a nice guy.
It may even be Trump. I figure four years from now, most dems will be asking themselves- "What the hell was I thinking?"

All career politicians are facades hiding corrupt character. What you see is not what you really get, but most voters prefer comfortable lies to uncomfortable truths.
The dems have long mastered the art of providing that to them, telling them what they want to hear. Democrats don't seem to learn that promises are hot air, not performance... and performance is all that really counts.

 

Obiden gave you nothing. Remember the SENATE. And Nancy is weaker in the House.

 

To be clear, the Orange Apocalypse's unhinged temper tantrum over vote counting has nothing to do with ferreting out deficiencies in our voting systems. It is about creating a "fraud" narrative to preserve his ability to play the aggrieved victim of a "rigged system" once he is out of office.

 

When one abandons the Democrat party, one gets a much clearer head and then starts to think over what Democrats do wrong a lot.

I actually thought he might win. Hell, I went to bed on Tuesday thinking he probably won. I didn't think he would get the popular vote, but I had my doubts about the EC.

 

Problem is, I don't think it is because of the way people voted. We were ahead on election day almost everywhere. We won states that we were predicted to lose by 15 points! The last minute turn of events changed all that and we were warned of the tampering to come! If we hang on to the Senate, and we have the SCOTUS, perhaps we will solidify our election rules, have a final tally day, Nov. 3rd., and all ballots will be delivered in person. Outside of that, we are a Bananna Republic.

The Media has been taken over. Though I like Tucker, Watters, Hannity a little less so, and a lot of the Fox Pundits......I will be giving News Max a try. My hope is, Trump puts his weight behind inventing a new, media with a non-partisan, journalistic approach. Perhaps we have a firewall sufficient enough to save the Nation for 2 years then we can own the House. These are just my hopes for my children.
