This leak smells. It smells badly like a stitch up. There are inconsistencies. The British spy who apparently leaked it has done work for Trump's enemies in the GOP and the Democrats.

That will happen if something gross enough surfaces. Articles of Impeachment passed the Republican committee on Nixon and had he not resigned first likely would have passed the whole house. Granted the threshold of tolerance is high with Trump but I believe there is indeed a threshold and if anyone can reach it he's the one.

Someone earlier suggested that peeing on someone is not in of itself a crime, soliciting a prostitute to do so is in most places, depends upon where he is.

 

He wouldn't and (imho) shouldn't get impeached for that. What he does in the privacy of his bedroom is of no concern.

What would be a concern is if the stories about his contacts with the Russians during the campaign is true. If he did a deal to remove sanctions against Russia in exchange for Rosneft shares, that SHOULD get him impeached. Even if he doesn't remove sanctions or get Rosneft shares now, if the fact that he did a deal like that is proven - that he was prepared to barter away US policy for personal benefit - that is definitely grounds for impeachment.

I say this without taking any position on whether or not these allegations are true or not. They should be investigated. If true they should be acted on. If not, there should be some consequences for those who reported it (Buzzed). Note that CNN did NOT report on the allegations. CN just reported that Trump had been briefed on unconfirmed allegations. Trump was briefed, so CNN's report is true.

 

For what? What do you want him impeached for? Because you "don't like him?" We don't impeach presidents for such things.
