GOP Politicians Hate Small Business

There are private enterprises which neither realise profit, nor buy and sell labour (a self-sufficient farm or farming cooperative, a small family business, religious groups, etc etc) - and there are public enterprises which realise profit and buy and sell labour. The latter affords zero independence, even though it's vigorous "free enterprise". The former affords independence despite the fact that no profit is realised. Then there are the small private operators enslaved to rent of premises and/or plant - not nearly enough independence in that scenario. It's much too much of an oversimplification to simply say that private enterprise results in independence.

Independence is tied to OWNERSHIP.

 

It is more than semantics. Small private operators are not enslaved to rent of premises; they are perfectly free (and independent) to do something else. Saying a self sufficient farm, or a cooperative, or small family business does not make a profit is putting a too specific and constrained definition of profit.

 

Spot on! And in Democrat ran cities the democrat hate groups Antifa and BLM are burning and looting small businesses.

 

The government controls all the business activity that matters. They control the people in the same way. Call it what you like but it is a disaster.
