He wanted the results of some of the States looked into further. Democrats have objected to results in some states in the last 3 elections where a Republican carried the presidential electorate.

The Constitution puts control of federal elections under the State Legislature, not the governor.

Nearly everyone one arrested has been charged with nothing more than trespassing. This "armed insurrection" crap was a mass of lies, which is pretty much par for the course with these folks. They will hear from America in the upcoming elections.

The Courts and the Legislatures are undoing all the illegal changes they made to voting security. They should have most of it done the next election. It will be interesting to see how much stronger the GOP share of the turnout is once it's more difficult for some folks on the Left to cheat without getting caught.

My prediction is that in the upcoming elections any Trump cultist running in swing district and depends on moderate and Independent voters will get crushed in 2022 and the Democrats will gain seats in the House and The Senate. Biden is pretty popular now and if COVID is under control and the huge bills passed (with 000 Republican support) help get the economy rolling, assist working class people and unemployment continues to drop, I believe the Dems will do very well in the midterms. All the GOP is doing is running fraudulent audits on an election they lost 6 months ago and passing chicken sh*t voter suppression laws in several states. I do not believe that their idiotic and racist plans will work out.

 

I fear they may create an emergency to suspend the constitution before the next election. The changes were signed into effect by Jimmy Carter. You were taken over in the eighties already.
