War game rigging goes back to the dawn of use of simulations with the Prussian General Staff, but that doesn't disprove my point.

"Defeating all the air forces of the Middle East combined" mostly means defeating the Israeli air force. The Egyptian and Turkish air forces are a collection of obsolete planes flown by air crew that doesn't get a hundred hours of stick time a year. Half their planes are grounded by maintenance issues and will be just sitting there when the Tomahawks arrive. the planes that do sortie will do so with mission-critical systems either inoerative or degraded. Not a good scene when going up against the best air defense systems in the world, operated by people who constantly are training in their use.

None of this gets the Daring class in the same area code as the Arleigh Burke or Ticonderoga classes. From what we saw of the RAF during the Libya thing brings the maintenance of the Daring class into question. The RAF is neglecting their aircraft. Is the RN doing any better with its ships?
