I've seen those kinds of charts before. They are not remotely accurate. For one the U.S. has no real idea how much the Chinese and Russians spend on their militaries.

 

They have also been eliminating European citizens fro a couple hundred years in several different ways. We are the only ones in their way and we have become suicidal with apathy.
Even worse they use our technology, money and human resources to destroy us. Look who dies in their wars.

 

Ours is uniquely large and expensive, though. We have a global military presence to maintain, and we work hard to keep our technologies on top. Look at how massively expensive the F-35 has been. No other country could possibly come close.

The poor and middle class have record amounts of earnings that are joined by record low rates. I prefer we pay the same sum per taxed person and this will keep the public far more interested in slashing spending than they presently are. We made a grave mistake with this unbalanced system of taxes where the rich get plundered by the rest of us. We need not care abut spending since the rich pay our debts for us.
