No, Trump does not always hire the best. That's a nearly impossible task. Sometimes Trump will give people who he feels have been loyal to him or might deserve an even break, opportunity to make something of themselves.

Those who watched "The Apprentice" witnessed a wide range of personalities and backgrounds, all given the same opportunities to prove themselves as effective & productive to a given task, but some people just couldn't get along with others and those are the ones that failed miserably every time. That's Omorosa and she has no one to blame but herself. Some people are so miserable inside that they fail at everything and then try to blame others for their failures.

Then he shouldn't have bragged that he only hires the best people.
According to you, his statement was incorrect (to put it neutrally).

So, when he said that, was he
    - lying
    or
    - incompetent

    Which one?

Neither! You said it yourself, he's bragging. He makes extravagant claims in order to sell himself to the people. In legal terms it's called "puffing" as applied to a seller or property or goods. It's not even considered as lying in a court of law. It's simply not binding.

For those with ability to read a person, it's clear that Trump exaggerates all the time and most times it's done to enhance his own image or organization with no real harm done, except to the liberals and brainwashed anti-trumpers who seem to lose their mind over such things. The reality is that it's just him puffing up himself as a sales pitch.

So why don't you do yourself a favor. Take a deep breath and simmer down a bit before you blow a gasket and all the gooey watery stuff comes flowing out of you. LOL

Oh yes, the guy who is donating his entire salary is in it for himself. How about if we look at the net worth of Clinton and Obama at the beginning of their terms and after. Then you'll see who was looking out for themselves

The guy who is "donating his entire salary" raked in $1.7 million from his political party in the first half of this year alone.

Three years ago, the federal government and republican party spent very little at Trump properties. Now they are throwing money at his properties.
Yes, he is in this for himself.

That doesn't go into his pocket, it goes to the Trump companies which are no longer under his direct control.

Haven't you guys been laughing at how their profits have gone down since Trump became president? You guys are like my ex girlfriend when she made sure no matter what I did, she bitched about it. If Trump loses money *********, if Trump makes money *********.

So past presidents who owned businesses never got a cent from those businesses while in office?

It costs the tax payers more each time Trump goes to his own resorts to play golf than his salary is for the year.

If you work for him you have to kiss his butt. Haven't you figured that out yet?

But she admits that she was sucked in by his bs. As PT Barnum said, there's a sucker born every minute.

Too soon to determine if travel costs will be more than Obama.

However, I hear Trump and family have a much smaller staff.

I can't think of any presidents whose businesses have received so much money directly from the federal government or their own party. Can you?

$1.7 million from Republicans to Trump just in the first 6 months. And we don't know how much the Federal Government is paying to Trump properties because that information is not being made public.

Fair enough.... there are many terms that can be used to describe people like that, but 'Presidentia'l isn't one of them.

Many of us are hoping that America now agrees with you and will decide to vote out all who blindly support that in 2018, then vote him out in 2020.

Bush was a oil man, you think hotel rooms being taken by individual politicians is worse? I heard Lefties are boycotting his businesses including Democratic law makers.

Trump requires all state employees to stay at the Trump Hotel in Washington when they are on a business visit.

The price charged to the government is $559 per night, 40% more expensive than the competition.

Considering that the occupancy rate of his hotel does not exceed 50% (77% on average for others), we can say that this policy saves the company from bankruptcy.
