Apparently due to Pneumonia and not the lung cancer she disclosed years ago. I personally debated her when she came to Cincinnati to help push through a waiting period that was later overturned by state law. At the time she denied she was pushing for gun bans. She later came back to support an "assault weapon ban" and she was panned as a liar by several of us. My take on her was she became addicted to the fame she got as a gun hater: fame she never had as being the wife of a GOP operative and once the Brady Bill passed, she couldn't give up that fame. She was among the most dishonest people I have ever met but I hope she rests in peace, for all eternity, with her husband.
