Gun rights advocates freak out over ‘No Guns’ sign at singer Toby Keith’s restaurant

Conservatives and gun activists are in high dudgeon over a sign outside country singer Toby Keith’s new Virginia bar and grill that says “No Guns Permitted.”

Check your guns at the door and enjoy your meal. Guess the wild west isn't permitted inside Toby Keith's restaurant/bar much to the chagrin of gun owners.

The object of concealed carry is that others don't know you have a gun. Is Virginia a shall issue state?

just checked, VA does allow concealed carry.

This would appear to villify Toby. I couldn't care less, because he don't fit my genre'. I hope his staff has been instructed about the stipulation that State Law prohibits carry in a bar anyway, so it's out of their hands, and it's actually warning the clientele to avoid possible run-ins with the law.

 

You can carry in a bar in Colorado, just can't drink. Need to be the designated driver.
