No ****. One of the reasons trump is a mouthbreather for rewriting the definition of machinegun to include them. Fudged up doesnt begin to cover it.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm someone who is familiar with the onerous burden it is to comply with NFA. I'm someone who has done what you want to make standard for all firearms. It's bad enough for nfa items. That is enough of a constitutional violation. And again if you can read youd be able to Google the steps and generally what goes on. You cant even do that. I wonder why?
A political animal, sheriffs are like anyother politician voted into office and speaks for their Constituency. They are far from being neutral career law enforcement.
Indeed. You cant be bothered to understand the effects what you're demanding will have on the citizenry but you've just got to have. Typical. Cool story, officer.... Fife, was it?
Everytime I read others name calling, I keep wondering what would be their fate were I to chat with those they speak ill of and how others might defend themselves from such name calling. My son in law was a career cop who retired due to an injury that was work related. He favors freedom to own guns too. Are those of us loving liberty actually vanishing or just not speaking up for liberty?
Ha ha, you’re funny https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...a-political-slam-dunk/?utm_term=.cf383985894f There are no polls out there that don’t show the vast majority of people want expanded background checks. That includes republicans and even NRA members. It’s not just democrats. Heck, most people want universal healthcare and beleive in AGW. These are all positions that the GOP plays ignorance in because they don’t represent the people, they represent money.
And I suppose he and you like the idea of the unimpeded right to sell guns to felons, letting 10 year olds have auto magic weapons. Cause that’s what they do in their world countries. The GOP promotes this crap.
Be specific. Proof as to what exactly? That the united states federal government currently prohibits firearm registration? Or that the united state supreme court has not ruled on the constitutionality of the majority of firearm-related restrictions presently in the united states?
Such does not amount to a right being nearly nonexistent, however. A right not being absolute, without proper clarification, means simply that it is nearly absolute. Meaning without proper context, the second amendment protects the private ownership of any arm that does not constitute explosive ordnance by military standards. If such a standard does indeed apply then fully-automatic firearms are legal to be owned while rocket propelled grenades are not. It is a six month wait from the start of application, to finally getting permission to take ownership of a firearm regulated by the national firearms act. All the while it covers only a single firearm.
Pretty negligible when compared to the fact that he just apparently gave the executive branch the power to rewrite definitions in statutes to suit itself.
Come on man, why would you do the work for him? I was having fun batting him around like a cat with a mouse.
They don’t. They trample rights of the innocent slaughtered people’s who die for the profit of gun makers. The nra supports the efforts of criminals getting guns and the illegal transfer of guns abroad and across our southern border. American made guns are as big a problem in Mexico as drugs are here. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...f-thousands-of-illegal-guns-come-from-the-u-s
All things already illegal and punishable where found. We don't have to respect your authoritah anymore officer, you're retired. Calm down. Additionally: Calling other posters cultists is technically a violation of forum rules. You're lucky none of us are the sort that feels the need to report violations.
When murders are investigated they tend to check the provenance of any murder weapon found. I've yet to do a private sale where the person didn't get a look at my id and write my name down. Why? Selling to out of state or otherwise prohibited person is still on you. The ATF doesn't check most 4473 balks either. Their reasoning? Overworked, have to triage. What makes you think they'll start doing that more often if you add more volume to process? Magic faerie dust?
Do you want me to pull some of those recent mass shooters who got guns through FFLs when they should've come back "arrest this man right now"? Or do you remember? Additionally: Not being able to get a gun on the registry doesn't seem to stop gangbangers from having their girlfriend, who can get a gun on the registry, from straw purchasing for them. It doesn't stop them from stealing pieces in burglaries either. Nor does it stop them from buying off the black market. You know only 2 instances of NFA items being used in crimes exist, and they were both Cops? You know that, despite that serious restriction on machinegun ownership and possession to include the Hughes Amendment making any not registered after May 16 1986 illegal, somehow gangbanging 18 yr olds still seem to get their hands on full auto off the registry AKs and Mac10s and Tech 9s and Uzis etc? How could that possibly occur, do you think?
