The last time there was real "civil unrest", the response on the right was "get a job, you unwashed hippies". The reason we have more civil unrest is that we act in an analogue manner, as we get more pissed off, we take action in an escalating manner. In the US, you seem to wait and wait and wait until it gets so bad that you have to overthrow the government. What seems odd to me is that the very people who advocate gun ownership for the purpose of overthrowing the government, are the same people who praise the Tea Party for obiding by the law, while condemn OWS for breaking the law (in a very minor way). Yet, they want to wait, wait, wait until their country is run by a tyrant, democracy has ended before taking bloody violent action. Why not act in a controlled manner now? Before thigs have go so far that you need a civil war? It makes no sense whatsoever!
