    Fer Crissake is EVERYTHING part of your ongoing culture wars? Solo takes place in another GALAXY long, long ago and far, far away. It's a fracking movie and Lando isn't even human, LIghten up willya?

    Larry Niven does this in the Ringworld books. He calls it rishathra and it's an ongoing quest by some of the Ringworld denizens to have sex with all of the Ring's thousands of species.

    No less an authority on sex than Freud said that infant's sexuality was "polymorphously pansexual" and only became differentiated later.

    It wasn't a trick question. You think Star Wars isn't planning the Progressive Diversity at the outset of each film? Heck they're already putting out hints that their looking for a strong female , preferably a minority for episode 9.

    It's all identity Politics these days. Every movie will have a strong , empowered female, and at least 1 of each minority we can squeeze in...and in Solos case, they even went pansexual. Toss in a weak, dumb White Male now and then for the Woman to constantly talk down to and show up.
    No thanks.

    It's politics ruining media.

    The whole star wars franchise has really gone downhill since after 2005.

    The Force Awakens was to the star wars franchise what The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was to the Indiana Jones franchise.
    It's the same thing if we look at Disney films (Is Lilo & Stitch really in the same category as Snow White or The Little Mermaid? I don't think so) Maybe the culture is really falling apart.

    I'll stick with the 6 Real Star Wars films, the Lucas ones.

    I don't care about any of these new characters. And if you can judge by what you always see remaining on the shelves at the action figure aisle....a lot of people agree.

    Vaders, Palpatines, Boba Fetts...those characters don't stay on the shelf. I bet you can find a Rey or Finn anytime you swing in, no problem.
