He was much more accurate than any scientist. Trump was saying it would be much earlier. The scientists were talking about another year or longer. Saying to it took two years or more for a vaccine to be developed and approved. Now they have the mechanism to get it out in just a few days. Sounds like Warp Speed doesn't do it justice.

There would have been no rapid development of a vaccine already were it not for Operation Warp Speed and Trumps actions.

The US should get to demand delivery of every dose it purchased. Every dose we did not purchase, we may not demand ****.

 

unless we contractually negotiated otherwise, we should get all the ones we paid for immediately after everyone who bought some before us gets there's.

If we paid for ours, the WHO can go **** itself trying to say when we get what we paid for.

 

We through operation warp speed paid for 100,000,000 doses and the first rights to an additional 500,000,000 doses. This per the Pfizer site I linked to earlier.

The US is ending up with a vaccine developed in Germany and made in the EU, which Bunker Boy hates so much.
They are so unfair.
The German scientists predict they would have a vaccine before 2020 ended.
Bunker Boy was hoping to win a election, nothing more, which he did not.

 

The US gets exactly what it payed for, 100 million doses and if it pulls its option 500 million more. The EU will get what it payed for, Brazil and all those other countries, too.

 

And many other countries have bought, too.
Everybody has now to stand in line and wait till their batch gets produced in Europe and later even in the US.

That is exactly what did not happen. Nobody snaked around something. All the developers in the Western World signed a open letter, which states that they would not short cut anything and would follow the international guide lines.
That letter was a reaction to Bunker Boys actions, trying to manipulate US agencies into short cutting, snaking around, the approval process.
Bunker Boy wanted snake oil for the election, the Pros wanted a vaccine to stop the pandemic.

As best I know, Trump does not hate the EU. He only wanted them to pay their fair share of NATO. Just like the US paid more than their fair share for the vaccine.

 

Biden will resurrect Obama's "America Second" policy. Maybe he will begin his presidency by flying around to many other countries apologizing for America being so great, just like Obama did.

 

You won't need to because if the vaccines work, they will lessen the needs for the masks and lockdowns. Contrary to popular crazy beliefs, these things are not being done to reform society or bring about a new world order.

 

No I am afraid - it is not magic - and while Liberals may be neocons and anti-environmentalist these days - Covid is not a liberal hoax. Sorry.

What Covid is however is a flue virus - and typically - 5-20% of the population will catch a flue virus each year. This is a big range unfortunately but let us start at 10%.

At current infection rates - using a 5 x multiplier (5 x total cases) which is arguably conservative - we should be at 10% of the population about a month from now - This could be the peak for this virus .. and it will subside after that.

Perhaps we will get to 20% the high end of the scale - this takes then two more months at current rates. .. so 3 months from now we would peak.

Obviously these are best guesses - but they are not based on magic or "hocus pocus" but on what generally happens with a flue.
