I ask people where they're from all the time. When I lived in Puerto Rico everyone always asked me what state I'm from (people who don't speak English as their first language didn't pick up on my NJ accent) When I lived in CA it was common to ask people where they are from because at the time so many people were not from CA. here in NM I frequently ask people where they are from and they're often proud or totally happy talking about where they came from. At work I speak to people all over the world and I ask them where they are and they, like I said above, like talking about where they're from. I recently spoke to people in the Philippines and India and when I did I asked them how the virus is where they are. The guy from India spoke freely and said his country is pissed at China for blaming them for the virus. When I ask the locals where I live where they're from it often leads to us discussing where I've lived and the differences in food. There's nothing wrong with asking a person where they're from.

And the best part of the story you linked to, which I didn't read in its entirety, is that it's written by a guy who doesn't have an Asian name. Do Asians like having other people tell them what they like and don't like?

Do you mean how many wars blacks and hispanics have started?

They're generally too busy fighting amongst themselves to start a war between countries.

The US is much better armed than any third-world nation That is why we are a first-world nation that masquerades as a third-world one. The US needs to be disarmed completely or we will eventually become unlivable. There are already warnings in foreign nations against traveling here.

While I was flipping through the channels last Saturday night, I caught a brief bit of news that white supremacists are behind the attacks on Asians.

Seattle social-justice activist charged over anti-Asian hate attacks
A Black Lives Matter activist and fervent Democrat Party supporter is accused of committing anti-Asian hate crimes in Seattle.

So now they're white and not brown? Guess that will stop all the accusations that whites are racist towards our pals down south.

Don't watch this video unless you want to see a guy get the snot kicked out of him.

    Do you guys recall:

Starbucks bathroom = national outrage, hordes of media attention and this board packed to the brim even though no one was injured?

Yogurt shop = national outrage, hordes of media attention and this board packed to the brim even though no one was injured?

Woman mistakenly accuses a kid of stealing her phone in a NYC hotel = national outrage, hordes of media attention, de Blaiso going nuts and this board packed to the brim even though no one was injured? I believe they even wanted to arrest her and charge her with a hate crime.

So will the below video generate that kind of emotion, outrage or maybe have Cuomo tell Lemon he's yellow on the inside? How will de Blasio react? How many panels of experts will CNN put together on this?

Seriously, what is the criteria for being outraged these days? And I don't need no snarky answers like this thread has been seeing from the usual suspects who want to avoid the facts.

And the worst part about this video is no one helped the guy, they all stood around and watched. That's New York City for you.

The Left has gone ape **** over completely insignificant garbage a white person says, yet they couldn’t give a crap about incidents like this that happen probably weekly.

That guy though he was in the UFC. And this is the reason why people need to be armed. You just never know when a sociopath will decide to go off on you. If you can’t defend yourself physically from an onslaught, that’s why guns exist.

For the past week, on the morning news in NYC there has been a new video clip each day of an Asian (Oriental) being suddenly attacked and beaten in the street for no reason. They then a show a still picture of the attacker. Every single attacker has been black. The news shows never point that out of course. They whine about Asians being attacked all over America as if it's "the dreaded mythical white supremacists" but it's blacks every time. I'd even argue they're not picking on Asians at all, but right now the media is ignoring when they do it to anyone one else because this is the issue du jour.

I don't think disarmed completely is necessary. If we obeyed the Constitution then those that are armed would also be trained. Trained people are far less likely to store their guns in a fashion that would allow their easy theft. Over 600,000 guns are stolen each year and I'll bet you doughnuts to dollars most of them are stolen from idiots.

Every single genocide on the planet had one thing in common, the ethic or racial group targeted was unarmed. Like they ran out of villages to burn while the UN used spit balls...

Yeah that's not in any way an offensive question. Seems like the latest craze for the cancel crowd to get offended about. Right up there with Mr. Potato Head.
