What I want is a single payer system and the end of insurance for profit.

Why do you support state-enforced involuntary servitude?

    How is this a right?
How is it necessary for a free society, given the examples of free societies that existed without it?

There are some things only government can do well. Time to add healthcare to the list

Why not have the most efficient most cost effective healthcare system possible? What we have now sucks

Because government is standing behind special interest groups rather than the people. If the free market were truely free we would have the most efficient cost effective healthcare system possible.

Depends on the context. Prisons are unpleasant but necessary.

Making it suck more for lots of others, so that you can get what you want is very noble

The context is clear from the discussion.
Care to make an honest attempt at a substantive response to my question?

Why do you support state-enforced involuntary servitude?

If you bought property with a well, than you already paid for the water - it wasn't free. You're paying for your own education so it doesn't matter whether you have children or not. The government cannot compel people to work thus they cannot compel people to pay for someone else's health care.

And where in the world does this system currently exist?

I answered your question. I don't support state-enforced involuntary servitude. The closest I can get to it is prison. If you have any other examples please let me know. If you're referring to a single payer healthcare scheme then you'd be wrong to label it thus for so many reasons. If you think a single payer system is servitude then you're going to have to make your case as it's your claim.

I met a "slave" from the UK. Had a beautiful house, summer home, flashy car and a great art collection. LOL

You said want a single payer system, where the state forces people to provide goods and services to others w/o compensation.
-That- is state-enforced involuntary servitude, by definition.
    Thus, your support of same.
    And so, my question.

What a cop out, not to mention dodge of the question. Socialism is a form of slavery. It imposes fines on people to divert wealth by a small group of other people who care less about waste.

Slavery? When were slaves highly compensated for their work and free to quit anytime?

He was the slave master, not the slave. Many profit from socialism, most do not!
