Brownbackistan a pseudo-Christian fascist state where the arts are not publicly funded, women's reproductive rights are relentlessly attacked, public school funding is drastically cut, voter suppression laws make it nearly impossible for new voters to register to vote, and social services are turned over to evangelical "Christian" groups, all done with the backing of the Koch brothers. https://billtotten.wordpress.com/2012/10/11/letter-from-brownbackistan/
Not a fan of the Koch brothers? You should really understand then how you feel about them is how we feel about Hillary and Obama.
The issue with what happened in Kansas was that it was a prime example of the tax cuts that were put into place by congress recently. While I don't agree with most of the Koch policies, we do have places where we align. Long story short, the tax cuts that were put in place in Kansas ended up not creating anywhere near the revenue that was supposed to occur and caused a budget shortfall. Education was one of the places that was hit, which the Kansas Constitution requires be provided.
He wasn't the worst leader we've ever had, but his policies, while possibly well-intentioned, did not accomplish his goals and he believed in doubling down, rather than admit they failed.
Any opinion regarding other than the usual laissez faire? It ain't just about this weeks trade war. Moi Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic, regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.
