NBC didn't sound like they were talking about antifa and similar "counter protestors." I don't think they got any permit, and to the contrary I heard the first protesting group had their permit rescinded Saturday around noon..

I agree. It does not matter what group holds a rally, they should be protected until they themselves break the law at their rally. Maybe we should make a law that if you attend any rally or protest with masks on your faces you will be arrested.

You are 100% right. It does not matter if we like what someone believes or not, they do have the right to believe as they want to here in the US. I have not agreed with the left and their protests against Trump, but in this country they do have the right to protest as long as they keep it peaceful. We can come here and speak against or for anything we want but to attend a peaceful assembly with the intention of stopping that rally is wrong no matter what their beliefs.
