She was also the spooks moll and brought to power by a very, very right-wing secret organization largely composed of European spooks.
So great he slept through his cabinet meetings. Poppy Bush was the real power behind the throne, whereas later, it was Dick Cheney who was the power behind Dubya.
Frankly I don't think that would have any effect. Those types of relationships are governed by long standing practice, agreements, and treaties between the two countries that go back quite a long time. US-UK relations have not been the best under the Obama administration but it hasn't effected the intelligence or law enforcement relationship.
I agree to an extent that trades unions were causing a lot of problems-but what pre-empted those problems? It's easy enough to accuse them of striking and losing productivity as a result, but the strikers also lost money while on strike. Nobody wants to lose money on purpose.
Funding terrorism, giving amnesty to the illegals so hated by the right, tripling your national debt, raising taxes on the middle-income earners while giving huge tax breaks to the already wealthy. If that makes Reagan the greatest I'd hate to know what the worst would be. Perhaps we'll find out if America is stupid enough to elect Trump. http://www.examiner.com/article/8-reasons-why-ronald-reagan-was-the-worst-president-of-our-lifetime
Yes people put in charge of our security and welfare not going a good job because the PM got his feelings hurt. I doubt it.
I think it was a purposeful dig. We have not had a discussion yet in the US Congress about whether to ban Cameron from entry to the US. Parliament did have a very similar discussion however....
How can one individual be so unqualified and so dangerous on so many levels and yet still be considered a serious contender for President of the United States? It's disappointing, to be sure, but no less puzzling.
I tend to agree. Obama really has nothing to do with the rise of Trump. The Republican Party created him. Republicans elected Tea Party candidates in two off year elections, 2010 and 2014 to stop Obama policies, giving the Republicans the largest majority in Congress since before the Great Depression. And what did they do with that massive majority? Passed Obama's budget request pretty much intact. I think a lot of Republicans, on realizing that the Tea Party movement had failed against their own party, were ready to burn down the house, and someone came along that would actually do that.
It's definitely the oddest election in my lifetime and I think it could be the precursor to a reordering of American politics from a left/right paradigm to a nationalist/globalist one.
1. Eliminate the two party system. 2. Put a sensible cap on electioneering budgets. 3. Ban negative advertising. 4. Give equal airtime for party political broadcasts to all parties. That should at least ensure a reasonably level playing-field and disqualify those who rely on vast wealth to buy into power.
that "special relationship" ended when obama made it clear that britain would go to the back of the line if it went against germany and the EU. He made it clear the US had no interest in a Britain independent of the EU.
He is the reaction of both. The country puked all over Obama in 2012 with the "shilacking" he and the Dems took. Then the next four years went without a damn thing happening. This group now hates both parties almost equally. I just wish it were Mark Cuban runnin, he would win in a landslide
Sorry but Trump doesn't have questionable ethics when it comes to telling the truth. He has no ethics whatsoever when it comes to telling the truth. To be absolutly fair Trump is an out and out lier. Read the polifact rating on Trump
To misappropriate a famous saying. " Nobody ever lost an election underestimating the intelligence of the American people"
Pffttt....bwahahahahabaha! Yeah I forgot she kills people who get in the way of her personal gain. Even the status quo hasnt reached obama and hillarys level.
You know where this is heading, don't you? Here's a headline 20 years from now: GOP Frontrunner Kim Kardashian Tweets New Nail Color
Why do some people decry Donald Trump's lack of ethics? He's running for the office of president of the United States, for crying out loud. Ethics would just get in the way. The most ethical president in my lifetime was Jimmy Carter, and look where ethics got him: Unceremoniously booted out of office after one term. The public got bored with his ethics. On the other hand, Ronald Reagan had almost zero ethics, and he is hailed today as a national hero. So, Donald Trump, keep up with your ignorant, uninformed, racist four-word sentences. Yes, they show you to be an idiot, and that's exactly what will get you elected to the White House. You are definitely presidential material.
