And for my part, while it's very tempting to say it's Liberalism's fault, he's correct. Blacks COULD overcome even the tempting offer of welfare by Liberalism if they really wanted to.

 

This video has now been picked up by Fox. And I saw an intelligent black minister praising the video and saying that the guy is correct. I think we're going to see blacks start realizing that the Left and the race hustlers have duped them for 50 years now.

50 years ! This has been going on since reconstruction .The black race has been held down and still have invisible shackles with the DEMOCRATIC insignia on them . Sooner or later they are going to realize that they aren't donkeys with a carrot hanging in front of them . There's a problem when republicans see more promise and potential in the blacks than democrats and blacks combined . You have to respect yourself before anyone else will do likewise. But there is movement , small but it's there.

You're exactly right. The current situation can be traced directly back to Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society". Black people didn't realize they were being sold for votes. And the result is what we see today.

Now we have a whole industry of bottom-feeders making a living off the misfortunes of other blacks, and there's nothing at all "Great" about that kind of society.

The black leadership perpetuates the status quo just like the white leadership does, 'cause they're both profiting from it. Black people need to separate themselves as individuals from the drivel coming down from leftists like Sharpton and Jackson.

It was white Southerners that enslaved black people. Racist sympathies of some Northerners play right into the virulent racism spawned in the South. That still exists to this day.

For you to blame 'Big Gov" remedial programs as the source of misery for the lower class black population is the height of ignorance and racism.

Nobody here are slaves anymore, there are no racist laws, no chains or shackles. If that were true there would be no black colleges, no black scientists, CEO's , managers, professional atheletes, coaches, etc. etc.

It's hilarious that Mexicans can leave their entire country, their homes and families, and risk their lives crossing illegally into another country in search of a better life, yet black people can't even get out of their own neighborhoods when given a welfare check and 50 years to do so.

You may just have convinced possibly 1% of African Americans. The other 99% will take note of your statements regarding "Ho"s and "Bottomfeeders" and will remain Democrats, since the Democrat party, for all its current disarray, is still FAR better, since at least Democrats have enough sense to recognize pain and suffering.

We are currently in a reorganization phase, trying to determine what to do with our defunct Nevada Senator who is a crony capitalist. That does not mean, however, that the Democrat party is not still the party of diversity, as opposed to the GOP which is apparently still plagued with a far right element, now begining to show its true face.

No, but when I hear a republican telling black people what they should do, and comparing it to a parent lecturing a child, I'm staggered -- yes, STAGGERED -- by the profound respect for, and perspective on, black people that the republicans have cultivated. It's such a perfect metaphor. You're the parent -- wise, protective, learned in comparison to the person you're talking to but willing to share the benefits of your experience, and black people are children -- inexperienced, lacking in perspective in the matter at hand, not fully mentally developed. It sums up everything, man. Like The Big Lebowski, but more profound. It's the rug that really ties the room together.
