My statements don't conflict with each other. The electoral college isn't the popular vote, and Trump lost the popular vote. These statements are consistent with each other.

Again, I'm not claiming that the popular vote is the same thing as the electoral college. Maybe this post was meant for someone else.

At this point in the election, Hillary was ahead by about 3%, although at times, it was as much as 6% and as low as 0%. Biden is ahead by 10% right now.

True, but it is difficult to win an election when you are behind by 10% a few months before the election, we are losing our battle with the coronavirus, and the economy is in a bad place. But yeah, anything is possible right? Trump might win again.

The 2016 election is a single case here. Your statement is too broad.

I see you really want to make this a debate about the electoral college. All I'll say is that kudos to Trump for pulling a win even when people liked him less than an unpopular democrat.

Even right-wing polls are showing Biden way ahead. With how bad the economy and the coronavirus are doing, I'd predict Biden was way head without any polls.

The popular vote isn't the Presidential electorate.
Fake News Polls. The Left "wins" a lot more polls than they do elections.
Dems will lead by a considerable margin until the race "unexpectedly" tightens on Labor Day Weekend, it will be nip and truck until election eve when Biden will have a slight lead in both the Popular Vote and the ECV and the endorsement of all the Fake News Papers.
Fake News. 99.1% of Americans haven't even caught the virus.
No it isn't. We voluntarily and quite successfully paused a roaring economy in order to prevent our health system from being overwhelmed, and it worked. We went into the pause with the strongest US Household Balance Sheet position ever recorded, which is why we are so powerfully roaring out of it.

    Yup
My statement perfect in both elegance and simplicity.
There's nothing to debate. You keep bringing up a metric that has nothing to do with presidential elections. Trump was elected in exactly the same way as every other president.

Hillary got millions more votes then Trump, Trump won by a few thousand votes in key States via a fluke

the only reason Trump won is so many people thought Trump could not win, that they did not bother to get out and vote

people will not make that same mistake in 2020

All this excuse-making. At least 538 had the dignity to admit that their polls were subjective, not objective snapshots of reality. (1)

    Learning?

    :roflol:

There's no learning taking place here, just spewing old, debunked bullsh!t and expressing hatred.

No one has ever won the Presidency who placed 5th in the New Hampshire primary.

Learning is a two-part process here. I am trying to teach you, but you must be willing to learn. You must want to learn in order for this thread to have a pedagogical benefit for you.

    Wax on, wax off.

And so on, and so forth.

If you can embrace the learning process, instead of shunning it, I truly believe you and I can have this relationship:

    Your logic fails you again..

How many who wanted Trump to win did not vote because HRC was already declared the winner by every poll?

Ots not about the number of votes, no matter how many times you cry about it. The election of a POTUS is not a 5th grade student council election.

The “S” is POTUS still reigns :)

she won the final poll on election day too, by millions

polls work where the one with the most votes wins.... but in real life some votes are worth more than others

Yeah but more cool people voted Trump.

Both of those matter equally in the end.

What’s the difference, you want population and not the states to determine the POTUS. If that is the plan why not just drop the S off and add a P? Who needs states anyways...

I want the states to elect the leader of the union of said states.

You want some of the states to do that based on their greater population. You want less populous states and their citizens to have less of a voice than the populous states and their citizens. Sad!

    How arrogant.

I'm learning that facts don't matter to those who are trapped in a bubble of hate towards someone who is no longer relevant, using arguments long debunked and lies long uncovered. There is nothing new on this thread for anyone to learn.
