The police don't know that for fact, they don't know if others may also be in the hotel, they don't know the guy who just said oh I work here REALLY works there and is not an accomplist all that has to be determined AFTER they have searched the premises.

This is an OLD OLD OLD story, give it up.

So why didn't the officer hold the first white man he saw in the hotel at gun point? He didn't even ask him who he was

That black man should consider himself lucky he was not forced into handcuffs at gunpoint and then held for hours.

Unfortunately these type of incidents have become more and more common, where police "detain" persons in situations before they have determined if those persons have committed a crime.

If the officer only used the gun in a threatening manner and did actually point the gun directly at the man, the suit will most likely not go anywhere if the police can show there was good reason to believe the suspect was in there.

Which is why he breezed past someone who fit the actual suspect description he was given. Give it a rest already.

The cop was in the wrong and deserves punishment.

No he didn't. He didn't even have a description of the person he was looking for but he immediately believed the first guy he saw who happened to be White
