Maybe if she didn’t call him a Russian agent on day 1?

If the Electoral College fails to decide a victor, then the election goes to Congress to decide. The Senate would then assure us that Harris won’t be taking over.

Since you spent half of Trump's term in a semi-catatonic state (and probably had challenges in coming "up to speed" on what Trump has done), you are not qualified to judge whether Biden being unable to get anything done would make us "better off". But FTR I ASSURE you, it wouldn't.

Well, since she apparently sincerely believes that the "rules" don't apply to her, and just us little people, I'd say that's a pretty accurate title to bestow on her. (And I loved how she thinks saying it was a setup somehow exonerates her willing behavior. I don't care if it was a setup, you still got caught with your hand in the cookie jar there, Queen Nancy...)

Good, call her that. I don't want the POTUS acting like you. (nor me, to be fair)

You will have to be more specific about which democrats you are talking about. As far as I know, masks are a state's rights issue that some governors may or may not have the authority to enforce depending on the state.

All I have to do is look at his agenda to know it's bad for the country. Raising taxes, reentering the Paris Accords (which Presidents have no authority over anyway, as treaties are the sole responsibility of the Senate), asking people to wear masks for 100 days (at least he's only "asking", hopefully because he recognizes that he doesn't have the authority to order such a thing), creating a task force to see how racist the 'Rona virus is, working on the long ago solved "problem" of PPE availability, allowing illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, etc., etc.. These are things that are of NO benefit to the People of the US of A, and are frequently to our detriment.

"No benefit"?? That is merely your own personal and partisan opinion even though you state it as though it were a fact. And most people disagree with you I believe.

But while you claim to be out of the loop, you sure agree with the Sociopath-in-Chief plenty.

    Ok, here it is:
Our economy was more favorable for the people and our standard of living was MUCH better when the top tax bracket was 50 and 70%.

The Paris Accord has the backing of the majority of scientists and of advanced countries. Exxon researchers predicted it over 40 years ago.

Wearing masks has been proven to be very important in mitigating COVID infections and reducing deaths, and this is a national crisis we're facing.

COVID is far more damaging to Native Americans, African Americans, and Latinos than it is to the white population. I take it you oppose finding out why and how to help those who are suffering more from it. Trump opposes it too and his view on it is racist as most of us know.

We desperately needed and continue to need adequate PPE. Trump only SAID PPE was plentiful months ago and that was a well known lie that you seem to have bought into.

Something humane MUST be done about both immigrants and those pleading for refugee status. Trump's response has been utterly cruel.

Yet you say these concerns are "of NO benefit to the People of the US of A, and are frequently to our detriment". WHY do you side with a narcissistic sociopath?? I just showed why he is completely wrong on all the points you listed!

Temper tantrums are the farthest from presidential and democratic. A man in his position should know how to act, period.

Unfortunately, the Trump destruction of our institutions hasn't just begun after the 2020 elections, it started at the moment he was elected. One particularly egregious example is his undermining the trust of the medical institutions, alleging that the doctors and hospitals exaggerate covid cases for personal profit. Almost ANY of out public institutions are under attack by Trump. To restore trust will take years, if at all possible.

Let's start with your first line about Trump's temper tantrum. In which world is it even remotely okay for the president of the most powerful country in the world, who has his thumb on the nuclear weapons, to throw a temper tantrum of 4 weeks? How is it okay for Senators and congressmen to support such a tantrum? Wake up, man!

Apparently there's a system in place to keep from using nuclear weapons irrationally. I'm not afraid of one day Trump launching a nuke. I'm not the one that has to "wake up", the left acts/acted as though we lived in North Korea for four years and it just wasn't so. Even as Trump is not behaving as he should following his Presidential defeat.

I've been very much awake, that's why I can criticize Trump on some things, praise him for things I think he did well(USMCA, among other things) and say that since I don't read the DailyKOS or watch the Rachel Maddow show, he's been a good President. The speaker's little stunts notwithstanding, the actual impact on the country has been relatively stable.

Not a single citizen can claim that their rights, liberties, etc had ever been put in danger by the Trump Administration. And even the illegal question can be positively solved by crossing legally(duh)

That's a good point. Politicians are supposed to hide their opinions and lie to the public. Perhaps they need to change the oath of office.

Yes, apparently Democrats were absolutely correct in pointing out Trump trying to act like dictator, like is idol Rocket Man from North Korea. He is proving it every day now by trying to steal the election and stay in power.

It would be very unlikely that the electoral college does not choose a winner. All that is required to win is 51% of assigned delegates.

The number does not have to be 270 and is lowered if a state's delegates are not counted by Congress

It really is a cult. A good 20% of Trump's supporters are members of it.

When competence would have yielded far less deaths, and the lack of competence increased the number of deaths, therefore, incompetence has everything to do with performance.

Biden already has 279 electoral votes certified.

    He won. Get over it.

J., Edgar Hoover left a lot to be desired in terms of character, but without him a coup like we are seeing now would have happened a lot earlier.
