The only satisfaction I get out of the 87,000 new agents and their hyper focus on red states and small businesses is that @cd8ed will most almost certainly get a taste of how utterly the federal government detests him. I cannot see his business escaping a hideously expensive and business destroying audit. This bill was passed specifically to destroy small businesses like his. People with w-4s (like me) will most likely escape the government knife..... this is the state going after the Kulaks like @cd8ed. Remember @cd8ed, when they come for you (and they will), you voted for it.

This bill will of course increase inflation and taxes on the middle class. It makes the plebes a little bit poorer and the elite a little bit richer. It makes the deep state much much more powerful and arms IRS agents. Billions of tax dollars to pay for handouts to Democrat cronies on the climate change grift. Less than 1% of the population gives a damn about climate change but somehow it gets passed. Everything the elites want, they get....... NOTHING the middle class wants matters. The Democrats are the party of the grifters on the top and the grifters on the bottom.

This bill won't help the economy, it's main purpose is the provision of graft for those that demanded it.

Republicans made a good call in this case. This has as much chance of reducing inflation as free Molotov cocktails will reduce arson.

My predictions:

They take in more money and the environment is no less toxic
Poor and middle will be disproportionately affected by the more powerful IRS
Big pharma will enjoy record profits while Americans become fatter and sicker

If anything, Repubs can run on "We are not the ones that sent the IRS to your door"

I wish it were false. Poor people are easy targets for the IRS. They can't afford good accountants and lawyers so they pay up. Here you are cheering for more of the same. Perhaps reps will remind them who brought the wolf to their door. (On top of the steaming pile of results dems are producing.)

I am confident in my predictions given the history behind each one. I really want to be wrong.
