I was around during the Carter years. He was a nice guy, but completely out of his depth as president. He was only elected in a backlash over the Nixon Pardon. He should have stayed on the peanut farm in Georgia.

Under him, we had a gas crisis and a hostage crisis with Iran. He failed to support Samoza in Nicaragua which led to 10 years of civil wars in Central America--all avoidable.

We also had high unemployment and high inflation. Reagan referred to those two stats as the Misery Index. He beat Carter (a sitting president) in a landslide (44 states to 6 states). That is Carter's show a approval.

As for President Trump, putting a sitting president in a poll of former presidents after only two years in office has the lingering smell of anger still over Hillary.

Give these pollsters a crying towel.

For comparison, Kennedy's and Reagan's first two years were rocky. They would have rated at the bottom under similar circumstances.

I liked Obama, but, that is a pretty shitty thing to say if he said jobs were never coming back, I like Obama, he had healthcare in mind.

The bloodiest mass shootings in recent US history have happened under this presidents watch, does nothing to stick to the NRA. Tax cuts balloon national deficit, with a recession on the horizon. These aren't leftist talking points, they're facts. People are hungry for a democratic change like they were in 2008. I'll also bring up the transgender limitary ban the administration has pushed, the attack on women's reproductive rights from Ohio down to Alabama, an uber-conservative Supreme Court,, no replacement for either the TPP or Climate Accord, a self-inflicted trade war that will hit Americans this holiday season. Of course then there's the travel bans shot down coast to coast by the courts. Higher turnover in this administration compared to the past two, a "zero tolerance" immigration policy that has been decried by both sides (look up Laura Bush's response to Border Patrol's separation at the border).

We're quite aware of what Trump has done to America in the past two and a half years. To believe otherwise is almost tapping into willful ignorance.

• The NRA isn't responsible for mass shootings
• Tax cuts aren't responsible for the deficits. Spending is.
• What recession?
• Abortion is the antithesis of reproduction.
• If Hillary was president, then we would have an uber-liberal SCOTUS and you would be happy.
  
• We don't need TPP.
• We don't need the Paris Climate accord.
• We need to level the playing field with regards to trade.
• Many court losses have been at the lower courts and haven't even reached the SCOTUS yet. Why don't you wait and see?
