You mean your interpretation of what you think congress says it means. I believe SCOTUS has weighed in on this too.
You are welcome to your own, unsubstantiated opinion. To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress; in any case, i get my Goodness from marijuana; unlike all of the infidels, protestants, and renegades on the Right.
yes; and moral as well. Only false Christians who are infidel, protestant, and renegade to a Bible, don't know it. - - - Updated - - - That is your red herring. Wellness of regulation must come from our federal Congress for the Militia of the United States.
“Like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited…”.(*)It is(*)“…not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.” “Nothing in our opinion should be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms.” (*)“We also recognize another important limitation on the right to keep and carry arms.Miller(*)(an earlier case) said, as we have explained, that the sorts of weapons protected were those “in common use at the time”. We think that limitation is fairly supported by the historical tradition of prohibiting the carrying of ‘dangerous and unusual weapons.’ ”(*) - Justice Antonin Scalia Our progressive friends like to step on Heller decision and overlook 1939 Miller decision.
What is so difficult to understand about this: Subject only to the police power, the right of the individual citizen to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
You can repeat yourself til the cows come home, but until you back up your drivel with legal interpretations that support your delusion, no one is listening. The other side has cited with substance, but you just type the same old words that you incorrectly interpret.
Ok, for clarity sake, answer one time like you mean it. Do U.S citizens have the right to keep and bear arms, yes or no?
What do you mean by "keep and bear Arms"? The People have a right to "acquire and possess" private property in the class called Arms.
Thank You! So the debate over the "the right to keep and bear arms" is over. Now just to show you what an objective and open minded stinker, er I mean thinker I am. Here's what Miller SCOTUS decision amounts too. Miller confirmed in 1939 citizens rights to keep and bear arms. What Miller did though is confirmed the Constitutionality of declaring what were legal arms and not. That again is confirmed in Heller decision and yet again in Highland Park decision. I would agree Clinton's AWB was constitutional, like Highland Park's city ordinance and New York and Kalifornia's gun control laws prior to December 31, 2015. Why? Because these are state's rights issues, the same state's rights you've argued against. And yes, I diliberately boxed you in, in this debate and congratulate you for coming to reason in the end.

YOU answered YOUR question in post 92 when YOU said "arms" were guns! I gotta ask though, are you a berkeley student?
Here is the statement I made: What do you mean by "keep and bear Arms"? The People have a right to "acquire and possess" private property in the class called Arms.
nothing but continuance and diversion; i got it. What do you mean by "keep and bear Arms"? The People have a right to "acquire and possess" private property in the class called Arms. All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.
