How do we stop the violence in Chicago?

The root of the problem is IQ and a genetic propensity for violence.

The violence in Chicago can not be stopped. For decades the Democratic Party has promoted the Chicago welfare life style and victimhood of blacks, literally paying them to have broken families - and succeeding with 70% of black families. If police involve they will be murdered and accused of being racists if they do anything.

There is no solution. The Democratic Party dug all this in too deep - now for 3 generations. Just hope they don't come to your neighborhood or city.

 

People who are not exposed to violence will not know violence no matter how dumb they are. Even Klingons

We try to suppress it. Sometimes it's the effort and the journey not the destination that matters.

 

These are the only 2 post worth anything in this thread to attempt to improve Chicago situation. Or the sure fire way, round them all up and ship them out, and insure that they cannot return.

The only question is where to ship?, or maybe Talon and Sleth have better Ideas? A large percentage of the current population of this country doesn't have the desire, fortitude and wherewithal to do anything, so nothing ever changes.

Now what about St Louis, and L.A.

Would you feel more comfortable putting your toddler around a golden retriever or a pitbull?

 

1. Flood the streets with police. Nothing can change without the citizenry feeling secure in their persons. Promote interaction and trust-building between police and lawful citizens. Tell the people what you are doing.

2. Flood the airwaves with 'public service announcements' - giving tips on parenting. Such as: Stop telling your sons that they're just as worthless as their father; or, you are now the man of the family, your job is to provide (regardless of how you do it).

3. Convince the community to vote progressives the heck out! Especially out of the school boards. Get real education in there.

4. Reform the prison system. Separate the gang members from the general population. Prisons must not be a place where people become more hardened.

We could use these policies in the worst cities - St Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans, Detroit, and see what happens.

 

You could try figuring out why other countries have fewer shootings. I don't think you'll get very far, and most certainly will arrive at a ridiculous unworkable solution that will only result in even more deaths, but...

so long as you keep your ideas locally, they won't affect me. It should be quite amusing watching the results on the news.

 

Criminals will always be armed. Especially when they know that law abiding citizens have been disarmed for the convenience of the predators.

 

Arm all law abiding citizens in that area, post signs.

Although I prefer a couple of these walking the city and a bunch patrolling up and down our southern border. Would stop crime & illegal immigration in a nansecond.

The only thing that would make a difference is for the next protest or riot the police make a corridor for the protesters to ONLY be able to march into the neighborhoods where the rich liberals actually live. As of now, they have no reason to see any problem with murder in poor black neighborhoods and probably silently cheer each death as that is 1 less black voter they have to worry about voting against the rich white Democrats who run Chicago. Make it so the RICH Democrats are the one's whose property and lives are at stake and watch how fast they have an army of police to address it. But poor blacks killing each other? They have no reason to give a damn, none whatsoever.

In fact, they take the opposite stance such as Elizabeth Warren declaring ALL POLICE ARE RACISTS - meaning telling poor blacks to never call the police and to take law into their own hands.

 

Force all inhabitants to wear mittens around the clock.
